Sea Salt Shack | Alder Smoked Sea Salt

I like to experiment with new flavorings in my recipes but my daughter has a problem with 'different' or 'spicy'. It makes for a boring dinner. Then I found a recipe in a magazine that used this applewood smoked sea salt, it sounded interesting but I was worried that it might be too smoky. I used it on my pork loan roast and it was awesome. It wasn't too strong, it was just right (I sound like Mama Bear). Of course I was careful about the amount used, but I didn't have to worry. I will buy this again, in the meantime I'm going to try it on everything because it's idiot free. Awesome.

The Salt Shack produces this excellent, flavorful salt. I’ve tried the applewood smoked salt as well, which is also excellent. Of all the different smoked salts I have tried, the Salt Shack is by far the best! Second place is not even close.

Absolutely the BEST smoked salt out there and I tried them all!! Just a light sprinkle on anything adds tons of flavor. Sprinkle your morning egg and will taste like you had three strips of bacon (without the meat). Highly recommend and and buying for friends too.

I ordered this so my sister could taste GREAT SALMON - She said it always tastes fishy - I said you have never had Smoked Sea Salt Salmon - While on vacation visiting her I ordered the Salt and seasoned the Salmon we purchased from Sams Club and she was AMAZED it tasted fresh and Wonderful - Thank You!!

I used this on some salmon that I was smoking with alder. You might think this is overkill, but alder smoke is kind of mild, and sweeter than other smokes, so I just used this in lieu of regular salt to accentuate the alder flavor. It worked very nicely. I'm sure you could just use it by itself, without the actual alder smoke, but I haven't tried it like that yet. Next time.

This is the real deal, making food taste like you actually used real hickory smoke in the process. I added it to a shredded pork pappardelle recipe and it was one of the best meals I've ever had. I've added a pinch here and there to a lot of meat dishes and you just can't go wrong. Try it on hard boiled eggs!!

A great product to use grilling. I've used this on steaks, chops, in my rib rub, in bean soup with ham, and even with grilling salmon. It has a great taste and unlike other smoked salt on the market does not have a fake liquid smoke additive taste.

I love this salt. Use it on everything. I never knew a simple addition of flavored salt could do so much.
