How much a quarts I need for Ford freestyle 2005?

The high presser filter change is 5QTs, the trans takes lot more but Ford only states that the high presser filter has to be changed. If doing the work your self I had a problem and broke 3 new 25T bits then my local dealer broke bits as well so be careful.

A replacement FORD CVT transmission is $2,000 used, don't ask what a new one costs. Here is a classic case of "U can pay now or pay later." (A Ford dealer might save you a buck or two on this product) Why not buy 6 quarts now and change the fluid before your trans fails?

Freestyle CVT

I drained out the old fluid that looked like Black sludge, this product is a clear blue color and i hope will give me much longer life out of the Dreaded ford Freestyle CVT. I also changed the Pan filter at the same time but was unable to change the high pressure filter because of the Torx bolts stripped out. Fingers Crossed!!!

JUST WHAT I NEEDED BUT AFTER I HAD USED THEM, I FOUND THEM ON EBAY FOR $6 A QT. LESS! SO, I COULD HAVE SAVED $24 ON EBAY.
