Awesome value
Wow, do I love these - especially at the price point. I completely agree with the people saying these are the best IEMs under $50 at least. They sound great and the transient response is something I notice standing out. Everything sounds very accurate and clean. They're really tilted towards higher frequencies though. That isn't to say they sound tinny or harsh, but the bottom end is quieter. But they take EQ really well, and the response is consistent across volume levels. If it's easy to EQ your output, these things really really shine. I usually forget to turn one on but I just did and wow, they really are amazing. I posted the curve for your viewing pleasure if you're curious what corrections I feel make these best. Some people have said that the S- variety has a different bass response, so I'm considering picking up a pair of those as well. If you use an iphone, the "bass booster" preset in Settings works well.I love the design and quality. If I handed these to someone and said they costed $200 nobody would question. I think foam tips are the best. The ones that came with didn't fit my ears as well as I wanted. These sit really far in your ear canal and I have scarring that would kinda push them out. No good. You don't want them sitting halfway in because that will make the frequency tilt even worse. My ear canal is only barely bigger than the tube with no tip. I put on some red foam tips from a pair of JVC Marshmallows I bought some 5 or 10 years ago. I love the aesthetic and these fit way better in my ears. Even though I ended up using my own tips, I was happy with the assortment that came in the box.I think it's sound isolation that really makes these great as IEMs. Can't hear your keyboards over the drumset behind you? Or maybe you just hate hearing crappy music while you're shopping. To me these block a similar amount as a pair of normal foam plugs (inserted aaaalll the way by rolling them up) and block a bit more than these non-disposable ear plugs.Etymotic Research ETY Plugs High Fidelity Earplugs; Standard Fit, Blue Tip, Polybag. This quality is good to help against the biggest problem I face. Now it's that time: Why these aren't my dailies for music production. They clip. This is the only thing that reminds me they were $20. I love playing virtual sampled pianos at a similar volume as they would be sitting at the bench. And here the clipping is distracting during loud passages. It sounds like a bit of static playing over the piano. I think this might be their biggest drawback live as well. You might need the average volume to be in the 90s dB SPL with peaks and transients in the 100s. For general music listening, I started to notice clipping around what feels like just over 100dB SPL - I can't really measure it so I have to compare with the volume of speakers using an SPL meter app. What I do love though, is that they sound great right up to that point. Other (cheapo) headphones just kind of increase in harmonic distortion until it stops sounding good. These sound exactly the same right up until they saturate, and they don't get one bit louder than that. I applaud them for that. No guesswork. It's clipping or it isn't. Awesome.Best things:Build quality. Outstanding.Aesthetics. No need to feel dorky to have great sound in public. These are fly.Sound Isolation.Worst things:Gotta EQ them - not always practical or fun when you just want to jam out. They can clip before other headphones (that cost several times as much, to be fair) in some very specific music production circumstances. In conclusion, most of what I expect from them just isn't fair. So when I say they're almost amazing, I mean that completely ignoring the price tag. I would have been happy with these at $60. Anything under 20 is a total steal.

Quality great for the price point, sound is great for any price point.
I bought these headphones two years ago, and today they died on me, the metal of the earphone piece itself wearing through the wire where they connect. While i'm bummed that they broke, those were two years of very heavy use, with the earphones spending most of their time either in my ears or in my pocket, so for $13 i don't really feel like i can complain. Indeed, i'm writing this review because i came back to this page to buy another pair.Overall, the sound was some of the best i've ever had from a pair of earphones, and i have bought a couple of fairly expensive pairs in my life. They're (mostly) extremely comfortable, and i could wear them for hours.I did have a couple tiny design complaints. I personally didn't like the squishy covers that came with the earphones (i don't know the actual word for this, but the soft thing that you put over the bit where the sound comes out so it'll be soft when you put it in your ear) as they were foam like an earplug, when i prefer soft plastic or rubber. But it wasn't a big deal to steal some soft plastic covers from another pair and put them on these, so if you have some lying around, no problem. The other issue is that the material covering the wire was thick and had a slight rubber-like friction to it, i believe in order to prevent it from sliding and bouncing around, and while it was great for that it meant that if you let these get too tangled in your pocket, the increased friction made untangling them kind of an ordeal. I ended up picking up one of those small velcro cable ties to make sure they were neatly rolled before i jammed them into my pocket each time.Ultimately those were small flaws, and the sound and quality were well worth the price.

Good while they lasted
These headphones worked well and sounded great... Until they didn't. The right earbud fell apart on me after six months and rendered them basically useless. The low cost makes the situation somewhat more understandable, but they should still hold up better as I'm not trying to make headphones a biannual purchase at any price.

Good ear buds at a great price.
Excellent for the price. Just about the best if not the best budget ear buds out there. They are pretty loud ans have very goos bass response. The tips that come on them are shoddy foam rubber, but the tips that are included with are better, both silicone and rubber, though none of them are great for bass. I . Suggest spending a few bucks on better tips if you are looking for serious bass. Still, they are definately worth the money.

Excellent budget IEMs - V shaped sound signature
These things really WOW'd me. I bought the "DJ Studio" version which is just the version without an inline mic for $13.99 USD. These are among the cheapest IEMs I own unless you count freebies that come with phones/music players.I am not an audiophile, I like V and U shaped sound signatures which these offer. If you're looking for something flat or reference level, look elsewhere. If you're looking for inexpensive fun sounding earbuds and have a strict budget these are hard to beat with anything under $20 USD. Out of the IEMs I have on hand my personal step up from these cost twice as much at $38 (TRN V80).There are a few "negatives" or more honestly just a couple things to keep in mind.-Firstly the cable is not detachable, it's not bad quality or crappy feeling but the cables are always the first part of headphones & IEMs to go bad.-Second, the stem or barrels on these is longer than I'm used to, I couldn't use foam tips as the stems tried to seat them too deeply which made my inner ear canal sore with mediums and I couldn't get a seal with smalls.-Lastly, the tips that come with these IEMs aren't that great. There's small and large silicone tips and a pair of medium foam tips. The quality isn't bad but they didn't work for me. I wound up using double flange silicone tips from a variety pack from MEE audio. Work better for my ears
