CAMPHerbol Cambium Saver Arborist Retrievable Anchor 120cm 47 inch

I use the cambium saver, in conjunction with my throw weight and line, to hoist my Hawaiian sling chair without risking damage to the limbs 25-35’ overhead.

Whenever I get new gear, it's secured to a rafter in the shed and I bounce up and down on it trying to break it. I'm over 200 lbs with harness, etc., and this thing passed with flying colors. My only problem is with how it wants to twist while pulling it into position. This happens almost all the time if you pull it straight up with your throw line, but if you pull it up at an angle, the rings tend to stay in alignment. Practice makes perfect!If I get another one, I'll try the shorter version.

I lost one in a tree so I had to buy this one to retrieve that one. The ball works really good. Our use the ball all the time now whenever I retrieve a saver out of the tree.

I love this thing. I use it all the time. Great friction saver. It takes time to get the roll out of it, but once done, its perfect. I ordered a couple more in case mine gets stuck in a tree, which has happened. Not the product's fault... my fault trying to get to a overgrown branch.

The ability to install and retrieve your lifeline from the ground creates a much safer climb, and the rings will easily add a couple years to each of my ropes, at least. All the gear made by CAMP that I've used has been high quality, and this is no exception. Great for DdRT/MRT and SRT.

This product is great. Original bought the wesspur rope climbing and was just trying to natural crotch. It worked but it was tough. Purchased this rope saver and it has made ascending into the tree much easier and my rope is not get as torn up.

The quality of the product was good. I wish the strap was a little wider.
