Good quality and easy to use
First I must say that I was a bit surprised when I opened the package after receiving these and finding out that the ice cubes squares are as small as they are. The measurements provided in the item description are accurate -- I guess I just didn't realize how small they'd be. However, I actually ended up glad they're as small as they are because the only silicone trays I could find that offer bigger cubes tend to be MUCH too large for what I would want. These cubes are small, yes, but they work just fine for my needs. That said, the most important thing to note is that these trays (so far) have demonstrated to me that they're good quality overall. Plus, the ice cubes are VERY easy to remove from their individuals squares, and that makes the trays quite simple to use. Lastly, I dunno what it is about cubes frozen in silicone trays as opposed to ice frozen in "traditional" plastic trays, but ice cubes from these types of trays seem to freeze (1) more clearly, (2) more densely, and (3) they last MUCH longer before melting (even though they're small) than ice frozen in plastic. After realizing this, we just threw away the plastic trays that came with our fridge! These are great trays, and they make much better cubes! Highly recommend!

Great Multi-Use Silicone Trays
DecoBros 3 Pack Silicone Cube Ice Tray (2 Red / 1 Blue) These are my very first silicone ice cube trays. I was really excited to use them not only to make ice, but also freeze my herbs and chicken/beef/fish stock in. Features: • 15 cube trays • Soft silicone • Non-Stick Surface Pros: • Super soft silicone makes it very easy to remove frozen cubes • Very easy to clean & dishwasher safe • Stand up to hot liquids Cons: • Don’t stack as well as I would have hoped • The red trays were really more of an orange color My Opinion: I have been eyeing up silicone ice cube trays for a while. Not only because we recently moved to a house with a fridge that doesn’t have an ice maker, but also because I’ve been wanting to freeze things in convenient cubes. I love making homemade chicken/beef/fish stocks and rather than lose a large amount of freezer space, I boil the liquid down and freeze in ice cube trays. Once frozen, I pop out the stock and put them into freezer bags or mason jars. It is so easy to go to the freezer and pull out one chicken stock cube and drop it into warm water for great homemade chicken stock. Yum! These cubes work great for freezing fresh herbs from the garden or eggs before they go bad. I’ve been coming up with more and more uses for these trays! The trays state very clearly that the user should run water over the cubes before removing. I have yet to run water over any of my trays and have had no problems removing the cubes. The corners of each of the cubes have a slight angle that help the cube come out of the silicone tray. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend, however, I wish the tops had some sort of a lip on them so that they would stack better.

Nice size and easy to use.
Nice trays that provide 15 cubes. Flexible and easy to release. Also stackable. I did get a small tear the first time emptying one, but not sure if it was the product or the way I did it. Just twist gently and push on the bottom to release cubes. The company was quick to respond to my message about the problem. I would buy them again.

Well made and easy to use
Been holding up for over a year now. Thought they would eventually snap or break but they are well made and. Easy to use.

What you put in the ice trays absorbs the the awful taste of the ice tray.
I've had these trays for a year, even with very good washing, following directions, and using clean filtered water for ice, the ice still absorbs the awful taste of the actual ice tray. I love the size and I love the flexibility, and that they are silicone and BPA pre, however, there is a funky chemical type of aftertaste that gets absorbed in. Looking for better trays.

DOES THE JOB
WORK SURPRISINGLY WELL > I was concerned that the individual ice cubes would be too small. They aren't. The icecubes are the right size for a glass of iced tea, lemonade, etc. ~ 1 1/4" X 1 1/4" X 1 1/4" > I was concerned that the trays would be too small. They aren't. The three trays make a lot of ice--45 cubes at a time. > I was concerned that the trays would be floppy, and hard to get into the frig without spilling. They are rigid enough. > I thought that it was odd that one tray is blue. Actually, it is ideal to have one "different" tray. I always put the blue tray on the bottom. That way the ice is never contaminated from the bottoms being in contact with my counter top. OTHER PROS > They stack, and so don't take up much space in the freezer. > I wasn't surprised that it is very easy to remove the cubes from the trays---just flex the tray and push the individual cubes out from the bottom. If you only want one or two cubes, you get only one or two cubes---not an avalanche. CONS > A little difficult to fill evenly. SMELL? ODD TASTE? > The 6 odor absorbing packets stuffed into the trays clearly support the complaints of some reviewers. However, I noticed no problem. I did however run them through a wash in my dishwasher before using. Despite any instructions (I didn't notice any) I'd be cautious about using forced heat drying in your dishwasher, for this, or any other, plastic. Forced heat (a heating coil in the bottom of the washer like one in an oven) is the default setting on many dishwashers, but you can turn it off, which will save your plastic dishes and $$ electricity. My dishwasher does NOT have forced drying and works just fine---metal and ceramics are dry, plastic dishes are wet (but air dry in a few minutes) at the end of the cycle. > Click on “Stoney” just below the product title to see my other reviews, or leave a comment to ask a question.
