Mega Red Book 6th Edition 2021

Hello everyone, hope that you are staying safe and healthy in this COVID-19 era that is 2020. First let me qualify myself a little before I write this review for the Mega Red Book 6th Edition 2021. I own and operate two coin shops/coin supply locations in sunny Southern California. Both have been open and operational for 22 years. I have been involved with the Numismatist industry and personnel for 30 years. And last but not least, during the 20 years that I lived in South Orange County, CA. I worked as the chief grading examiner for the most respectable authority in the coin universe PCGS.The Mega Red Book 6th Edition 2021 is quite simply a ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ book. It is superb in its breadth and depth of the Numismatist world. Weather you are at the very beginning of your journey and are collecting state quarters or you have been collecting for so long that you speak a secondary language......... this book has you covered.When you start to digest the amount of pure, raw, information that is condensed between the front cover and the back cover of this book you will be left in awe. EVERY SINGLE U.S. coin made since 1616 is covered in this book. When I say covered I mean C-O-V-E-R-E-D!!! Bright, clear, high definition, color, photos of every single coin, grading standards explained, errors explained, variations, Values at many different grades, history, coin manufacturing processes, and key terminology accompany every denomination of every single coin. The amount of time that went into compiling all of this information is staggering.I could easily write a glowing 10 page review of this book. Instead I will just say this: If you are going to buy one coin price guide out of the hundreds that are available, buy the Mega Red Book 6th Edition 2021. It is the industry standard. It’s the Numismatic Bible. Period!!! What are you waiting for-BUY THIS BOOK. Five Stars, five stars, five stars, five stars, and five stars again.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great info, no reason to buy all three books though, I made that mistake and find that the regular red book really offers everything you need. If anything, you get more pictures with this book but can get a little frustrating flipping several pages with just a couple years difference on your coins due to the amount of pictures. I’d actually prefer more pricing info about lower grades than just having pictures. Many coins only give you values above 40,55, and sometimes even 63... Still great info, but I’ll likely use the red book 95% of the time.

The book is more than I expected and am very happy with it. It is totally worth the money. Amazon packing; however, is HORRIBLE! Not happy with Amazon to say the least, but would never penalize the seller with a bad review as it is totally not their fault. Seriously, has no one ever taught them how to handle a book, especially when some one else owns it?!?

One big complaint with the Mega Reds is the publisher has not updated auction records to reflect current market conditions/ trends. For example- lots of the auction records are still from 2014, 15 & 16. These have not been updated for the past 3 editions giving the collector old data. The coverage on half dollars in edition 6 is comprehensive as always.

I wanted a book that would be as comprehensive as possible. This is the best I have seen. It is tough to find answers when you need them, even on the internet. If you have a basic question on almost any coin at any quality you can find information in this book. It is a bit large and heavy but it is a reference book. Buy it, enjoy it, learn and be confident with your purchases!

It is the most complete coin book I have ever seen. 1502 pages, illustrated in full color. Excellent index. The book covers everything regarding coin collecting. It begins with the first coins of 1792 and moves forward to the present and then covers tokens, Confederate issues and money coined and printed for U.S. territories Hawaii, Puerto Rico and The Philippines. Great pictures of all coins. You can also read this book for all the history that is in it too. The book was a very pleasant surprise to me! I found I have many more valuable coins than I thought.

I’ve just started coin collecting again. I stopped collecting at 17, before I joined the service. Many years later I’m able to start again. A standard for coin pricing at your fingertips. You’d be amazed at the price variations for the same coin amongst dealers. Some charge 300% of what a coin is worth. Most websites that list coin values are out of date or are skewed by sellers on their own sites. Plus this book gives you detailed information and the history of each coin type and design. Yes, this book will be well worn within a year. Love it.

I ordered this book on Sunday afternoon and received on Tuesday morning. Free shipping on a very heavy book was great. Also the price was 7.00 less than at Barnes and Noble store. Very happy with purchases

This book is amazing...An American history lesson within a hobby...To bad Canada cannot put out a book at the very least similar...

Dieses Nachschlagewerk ist gigantisch was Amerikanische Münzen betrifft. Das ist quasi der Duden der Münzensammler. Empfehlenswert !
