Our patented EL formulation uses the highest grade, brightest, and longest lasting phosphor on the market today and includes a UV inhibitor added during manufacturing. This UV inhibitor eliminates degradation and discoloration that other lower quality white EL panels experience when exposed to sunlight. Technolight EL panels have been rigorously tested including environmental, thermal shock, and flexibility tests. They are designed to withstand a wide variety of applications. EL is a 'Green Technology': environmentally friendly, non-hazardous materials safe for landfill disposal (no mercury), non heat-generating, low power consumption uses 70-90% less power than standard lighting. Inverter is specifically designed to power the premium quality EL panel included in this kit. Efficiency of the lamp system is optimized by the Technolight inverter design. Inverter has 3 modes available: On-Off-Flash. Inverter is adjustable to vary the flash rate. Panel is lightweight and easy to mount using double sided adhesive tape or Velcro strips (adhesive or Velcro not included). No heat is generated so venting is not needed for framed mountings. Panel fits almost anywhere within 203" of a power outlet. Wire connectors make it possible to feed the wire through an opening to keep the panel looking neat and keep the connection and the inverter out of sight.
