Pasta Sauce by Thoughtful Harvest-Sun Dried Tomato & Rosemary, 3-24 oz Pouches

Loaded up and bursting with the aromas of fresh basil, parmesan, and real tomatoes (the kind you grow at home, not the watery things from the grocery store). It's like the heady blast of a good putanesca but with cleaner lines, and clearer primary colors. I don't usually expect much from packaged food, but I may have to recalibrate my expectations, because this stuff really raises the bar. Yum!The other sauce varieties from Thoughtful Harvest didn't disappoint, either. The Sun Dried Tomato and Rosemary has a nice tang, and again, the aroma of the sun-dried tomatoes just defies what you think they could reasonably cram into a package. We have a pretty stellar cook in the family, but Chef Keith's sauces hold their own alongside dishes we make from scratch here.

Just had the second batch of Harvest Eating Premium Sun-dried Tomato and Rosemary pasta sauce (still waiting to try the red pepper and creamy basil) and thought I'd pass along some initial thoughts.First of all, it was like an evening out at a fine local Italian eatery (we had the sauces with some fresh tortellini that my wife picked up at the supermarket ... don't recall the brand, but it was good). Chef Snow's sauce was fresh and bright and I thoroughly enjoyed the flavor and will definitely be ordering again.A little background on me: I'm from New Jersey. I think people from NJ have an advantage in that it is a place where cuisines from around the world can be sampled (simply because it is the first stop of many of the people from around the world who come to this country). So, while it may be a little boastful, I think NJ people more than most (with the *possible* exception of NYC / Staten Island / Brooklyn residents) know their Italian foods.So, from this NJ born and bred boy ... it was good stuff. Try it. I think you'll agree.The only complaint I have was with (one of) the inferior products that went into making it.The label says that it is made with "California Grown Tomatoes". What a pity. Everyone knows the best tomatoes are grown in NJ.Ahh ... I can't ding him for this one oversight, though, even with inferior California produce the stuff's quite good. :)

This product is absolutely delicious! Such fresh and vibrant flavors that it's hard to believe it's not made at home from scratch. And, btw, the customer service is first rate. My first order was poorly packaged by amazon, and one of the pouches leaked. I contacted the seller who replaced it immediately! You can be sure my family will be enjoying these products for a long, long time.

This sauce is awesome! Right off the bat, upon receiving the package, you will smell the aroma of fresh herbs and ingredients ... once you dive in, you will experience the awesome goodness! Just all "real," high quality ingredients ... you will also want to try other Thoughtful Harvest sauces and spices -- please check them out, great quality for the price, you will not be sorry! I think I just thought of some very nice holiday gifts for my fellow cooking/grilling/baking enthusiasts :)

I'm from an Italian family, but do not eat as much pasta these days. I had my sister and brother-in-law over and we decided to have a traditional Sunday dinner at my home with ravioli and meatballs. I had bought the three-pack, but decided to go with the Creamy Basil Pesto Sauce. I loved it and it was a huge hit with my guests. I was born in Napoli and grew up in New York City, so I know great sauce and this is a great sauce. Looking forward to trying the other two sauces and ordering from Thoughtful Harvest in the future. Keep up the great work Chef Keith Snow.

Maybe going out on a limb here, but I contend these are the most vibrant and flavorful sauces you'll ever find "off the shelf" so to speak. It's evident that much time and effort has gone into sourcing quality ingredients and mastering the recipes. My only critique is that the pouches are not conducive to storing leftover sauce in the fridge -- but I've got plenty of empty jars lying around, so not a problem!

We decided to try this Red Pepper pasta sauce for something different than your typical store brand and I'm sure glad we did. We won't be going back to Ragu any time soon. My wife cooked some noodles and turkey meatballs to go with this Thoughtful Harvest pasta sauce, and wow was it amazing. This is officially our go to sauce now for any and all pasta dishes. You could tell this was made with high quality, fresh ingredients. I'm eager to try the whole brand!

I began ordering Keith Snow's Harvest Premium Pasta Sauces a few years ago and found it as good as anything I could make from scratch or even be served in an upscale Italian restaurant. No more chopping, slicing, opening cans and sauteing for hours for me. It's good on all kinds of pasta dishes, including lasagna when mixed with Italian sausage. I might sound like I'm gushing because I am. His website is loaded with recipes that work. Richard L
