HI-TECMen's V-lite Wild-fire Mid I Waterproof Hiking Boot

My true intentions when ordering this mid-boot was to just see how they look in person and see how they felt with a quick walk through the house and then send them back with the free return option, but things changed. These boots look awesome and feel great. The color (charcoal/gray/olive midnight) looks great. They are very comfortable and light weight. I was poking around at some options for a summer type athletic shoe/boot mix and these fill the bill. My intentions were always going to be to send them back after I had a look at them but I am definitely keeping them because they are everything I am looking for. I have a couple of other pairs of Hi-Tec boots that have always been great so I tried them on again to see how they fit since some people have complained that the boots lately fit a bit smaller than usual and I came to the conclusion that I could actually go up half a size for even better comfort and i'm glad I did. I went from usually ordering a 10.5D to ordering an 11D this time and they fit fantastic. These will now be my new summertime shoes whether i'm wearing shorts, sweatpants, or jeans. I never owned a pair of Hi-Tec's I didn't love.

Needed durable waterproof shoe for upcoming travel and after hours of online reviews and shopping narrowed down choices with hi-Tex being my choice since I have had their brand of boots in my career before retiring 10 years ago. When the boots arrived it was exactly as expected, nice looking, durable except the width was to tight and unfortunately there was no wider choice 14(EEE) or 14 (XTRA W) available so I had to return and settle for another brand which was excellent but not as nice looking would have given 5 stars but four stars for non availability

Wow. I needed to buy these for the purpose of working on a mission trip and am completely pleased. They are excellent in comfort and ankle support. The material seems to be of high quality. My high arch foot is well supported. I have yet to put them through the paces of rigorous use, but I am expecting great use out of these.Be waiting for my follow up review after I brutalize them.

Ordered 10.5 , box and shoe said 11.5, fit like a 10 , a bit small for me ,my father loves them, Buy them 1 or 1-1/2 size larger..

Seems a bit small to me.

They haven't had a lot of use so far but seem pretty good. I think they size up a little small and a little narrow. I can get one thick and one thin pair of socks in my excellent size 10 Hi-Tec Altitude V's but these size 10's can't accommodate more than a single thin pair of socks. I've been out in some light rain and with dew on long grass and my feet have stayed dry, though neither is a real test of the waterproof claims. They are comfortable for the 4-5k I typically walk.I haven't weighed them to make a comparison with the Altitude High but they seemed to be heavier than I expected for a mid boot with synthetic upper.

las botas son estupendas para montaña y campo en este tiempo , solo un pequeño defecto en fabricacion ha hecho que lel ultimo pasador del cuello de la bota se ha descolgado arrancando la tela , lo que hace que la bota quede suelta y no se pueda amarrar bien les adjunto foto por si tienen alguna solucion que darme , gracias.

Muy buenas botas, las e probado en la nieve y no han calado

Buen producto, la pega es que pensé que era más transpirable y lo podría usar con temperaturas altas y no es así, te cuece los pies.

Great shoes, very good grip and best of all they're waterproof.
