HTG Supply Garden Cloche Plant Protector Bell (5-Pack) - Reusable Vented Plastic Dome

I purchased this cloche side by side with a matching saucer. There is a slight ovular shape at the base that prevents it from really fitting nicely, but I counter it by turning it at an angle. Overall, wonderful for my indoor begonias and the perfect size! They love it.

Protects newly planted tomatoes and other plants from insect damage.Be sure to remove on hot day and return in evening.Very pricey but will last many years if stored in dark.Bought som 5 years ago, turning Yello but still solid and effective.

These cloches are easy to use, easy to store and do a great job. This is my third set and I have a set that has been in use every year since 2014. The older ones are no longer clear and have a yellow caste, but they still do the job.

These domes are awesome saved my plants from a frost and the tomatoes loved the greenhouse affect!!!

I only used them indoors, so not really a good measure of how well they worked. They did work for what I wanted though, just waaayyy too big! That was my fault. I over & underestimated sizing so that's on me. They arrived in great condition, so kudos on that. Maybe another time I can use them outside & see what they can really do!

I thought they where going to be small, but I am glad they aren't. Able to put it over my potted plants as well. Love the vent feature on top and it comes with stakes to make the sturdier.

The description states that these domes fit "perfectly" over standard 5 gallon buckets. They do not. The diameter of the buckets, and the lids is dead-on at 12". The interior of the dome is 11 3/4". No amount of pulling or stretching will get the domes over the bucket, nor the lid.Also, the domes cannot be set on top of the buckets. Because the fit is just undersized, it will teeter and fall off during any attempt to do this.Using the domes over the buckets was 100% why I bought them; it's frustrating that they aren't as advertised. HTG, did you get an off-spec batch of these or something?

Purchased this as a dome for my Mr. Freeze cosplay. No idea how well it works for your plants, but will keep you head nice an warm (so make sure that vent is turned on). Only complaint is that if you choose to make cuts, the plastic is very sharp, so be careful. This is not intended use, though, so I won't knock any points.
