Earth Almanac: Nature's Calendar for Year-Round Discovery

This book was reviewed in the Sierra magazine...purchased one for a retired national park ranger, Xmas gift. Peeked through the pages....this is an awesome gift for anyone!!!Intend to purchase for birthday gifts and one for myself. Consider this to be my best Christmas discovery 🎄

I got this book for a grandchild who loves nature and nature facts. It gives a nature fact for each day of the year, starting with the winter season (which confused the grandchild at first).

Although I have not read through the Earth Almanac (I want to enjoy it each day of 2021) I think it will be fun, interesting and informative. I keep an Nature Diary and this will go hand-in-hand with Earth Almanac.

Ken is an excellent writer who engages the reader and makes them want to keep turning the page. Jeremy's illustrations are a wonderful addition to the daily entries. I can't wait to read this book each night!

Reading it daily or every few days. It is both informative and builds a daily practice/awareness of creation and our need to care for it.

Great information which usually leads to exploring more information on internet. The daily entries connect me to nature in a way I miss since Covid restrictions. Like the entry about bird feet!!!
