Received 2 days before it was expected. Packaged very well for shipping. My first time buying flaky salt. So glad I did! This stuff is pretty awesome. Large flakes that would make you think that it would be very salty, but it's light. Delightfully crunchy and tasty. If you get your nose up close to the surface of the salt in the container, you will notice a slight odor, but it's not unpleasant at all. Large beautiful white flakes. I've been watching a chef that uses this type of finishing salt on a lot of his dishes and was intrigued. It definitely has visual appeal. I think I would like this on soft pretzels. So often the salt on them is way too much, but it has that visual appeal. This would give that same visual appearance yet not be too salty. I will buy from this seller again! Great product.

I watch a chef on IG that always put a handful of the most delicious looking salt in her dishes and something about it looks so fluffy and special, you can just tell it's good even through the screen. That chef finally mentioned that she uses Maldon salt, which I was worried would be crazy expensive so I immediately searched for it and ordered it and was pleasently surprised by the price. It is something that will change all my meals and cooking for the better, which is a big deal that the meals I eat will now have a more special quality. The flakes are fine and dissolve well (so they combine in a dish well), yet you can feel a noticeable and slight salty crunch and punch of flavor when you come across a crystal you topped your food with. Not to mention, I looked up the statistics for micro plastic and metal content in this salt and it scored extremely well, especially for a product that isn't ultra refined/processed and doesn't have added components to it like most of the salt you find at the grocery store. It adds an element of whimsy and feels like a gourmet product which may sound odd for something as simple as salt, but that's the point - it's something you add to Every dish you cook from scratch and therefore makes a huge difference. From the size, texture, taste, this is an AMAZING product.

Maldon sea salt flakes are hands down the best salt there is. This is not an exaggeration. I put it on everything. Cookies. Fruit. Bread. Steak. Eggs. Basically, if food exists, Maldon belongs on it. It somehow levels up flavors without overpowering them. This is easily the best flaky sea salt I have tried yet. The flakes are nice and coarse, providing a perfect crunch and excellent flavor. My only complaint is the packaging; I really wish it came in a resealable bag. Once the box is open (and the flimsy plastic holding the salt), it’s very easy to accidentally tip over and spill. Despite that, the quality of the salt itself is top-tier—I just recommend transferring it to a glass jar!"

This is the only salt I use when seasoning now. It’s far superior to any other salt. The flakes are delicate and melt into marinades and onto steaks and veggies. The salt flavor is not overpowering, but is a perfect distinct sea salt. I keep the flakes in a salt cellar and spoon it out as needed.

The absolute best salt for cooking with. Ordering the big bucket is great value and lasts for a long time. Flaky, crunchy and delicious.

Maldon Salt est parfait pour agrémenter des cookies ou rajouter à la fin de cuisson juste avant de servir. les cristaux, de relativement grande taille mais plats rajoutent une texture interessant tout en salant (c'est un sel "très salé"). Ce n'est pas à utiliser en cours de cuisson, ce serait dommage.
