I had a blackhead come up on my scalp and it grew into something my doctor lovingly compared to something you’d see on the pimple popper show. Before resorting to having my doctor pop it, I decided to try a drawing salve. This cream was cheap and reviews were pretty good, so it’s is what I ultimately chose. After many months of this growing blackhead, only 5-6 applications of this ointment, it came to a head and I easily squeezed it myself. I will rave about, and recommend this product to anyone who ever has a similar problem to me. I was a bit skeptical, but this worked like a charm in no time!

This stuff is golden. It doesn't smell as much like tar as it used to. This stuff brings boils to the surface quickly . Use a bandage over it to protect clothing. Ive used it for years when needed & won't use anything else.

I work with my hands on rugged things, and I play hard in the wilderness. I have a fair amount of experience with this sort of thing. I first used ichthammol forty years ago at the advice of my wife's grandmother. I couldnt' believe how well it worked. I asked my doctor why he didn't prescribe this rather than the expensive stuff that doesn't work well. He said that ichthammol is no longer patentable, so jumping through all the necessary licensing hoops would be prohibitively expensive. Luckily, you don't need your doctor to recommend this. You have me.

I bought this hoping it would help draw out a stubborn splinter and reduce some skin irritation. It definitely works after a couple of applications, the area softened up and the splinter came out easily. However, the smell is incredibly strong

After numerous trips to the vet for an impossible ear infection for my dog, this ointment and fish tank antibiotics cleared finally cleared it up. I had already spent over 2k and months with other drugs and ointments so I did my own research and used this a few times a day with a qtip.

Very good. No weird smell but can stain material. I use this for big & stubborn pimples. I put a generous dab on the affected area 1-2 times a day. You can see reduced redness & size within 12 hours. Depends how bad the spots are but generally I see the best results within 4-7 days. Some faster & some take longer. Definitely recommend over ANY pimple patches, those just trap the germs for me, leaving the bacteria under the skin’s surface.

Not really work for me, am looking for cream to stop itching of my skiin.

I used this for my son’s acne which has been resistant to everything I’ve tried so far. He had a patch on his forehead for months that just wouldn’t go away, and I’ve tried everything. It took only 2 applications of about 3 to 4 hours each to bring the acne to a head. His skin eventually cleared in that area. I find the 20% ichthammol works faster and more efficiently than the 10%. It’s worth having in your first aid kit.
