Between 1978 and 1980 Fàshiön toured both the USA and UK as opening band for The Police, did a UK club tour with a then unknown band from Ireland called U2, opened for The B52'S on their first ever UK tour, had a new band called Duran Duran open shows for them, and played gigs with: Alternative TV, Billy Idol, Brent Ford and the Nylons, Brian James Brains, Chas and Dave, Chelsea, Dangerous Girls, Dansette Damage, Delta 5, Dry Rib, Gang of Four, Ha-Ha Germs, Hazel O'Connor, Ian Dury, Inner Circle, John Cale, John Cooper Clarke, Joy Division, Medium Medium, Moon Martin, Neon Hearts, Patti Smith, Richard Jobson, Robert Fripp, Squeeze, Steel Pulse, Steve Hillage, SVT, The Cramps, The Cure, The Damned, The Mekons, The Meteors, The Photos, The Ramones, The Reds, The Skids, The Specials, The Stop, The Stranglers, The The, The Tubes, Toyah Wilcox, UB40, and Wilko Johnson. In 2008 Luke Sky, now a resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, decided to re-release Fàshiön's groundbreaking first album Product Perfect. Please go to the Product Perfect page to read reviews of the record and gigs. Having left his time capsule to mate Product Perfect's vinyl with a CD, he then decided to write and record a new album - the first Fàshiön album to feature Luke Sky this millennium. So, for Fàshiön fans everywhere the 10,735 nights of waiting are over and Luke proudly presents for your delectation Stairway To Nowhere. Later this year there will be a book, also called Stairway To Nowhere, that will give hilarious, irreverent glimpses into Luke's life during the two years he toured with Fàshiön. Name's will be named, reputations besmirched, underwear-dirty and otherwise-flaunted in public. Luke has a battalion of terminator lawyers standing by to field the law suits. Meanwhile, sit back and soak yourself in the lifegiving, rejuvenating sounds only to be found on the Stairway To Nowhere.

Great
I have loved Product Perfect since it was released. I kept hoping they would come out with another album. Finally they did and I was not disappointed but instead ecstatic. This is one of my favorite albums to come out in the last year.If you loved the first album you will love this one too.

Back from the dead
In 1980 singer/guitarist Luke Sky left Birmingham UK pioneer punk/new wave band Fàshiön slap bang in the middle of recording their second album. Who knows where he went or why (I've heard rumors on the Internet of a book of the same name as the CD written by Sky that will explain all). Anyway, the lanky bugger is back - with a vengeance! It's almost as if he's crawled out of a time capsule to bring us this wonderful modern twist on his music. The same unique vocals, soaring guitars and weird keyboards, make for a wacky Devo-esque, punk thrash, reggae loop of a ride. After 30 years of amnesia welcome back Luke! And if you haven't heard the seminal first Fàshiön album, Product Perfect Product Perfect give it a listen.

Raw, Organic, and Energetic
"Stairway To Nowhere" is the long awaited follow up to 1979's "Product Perfect" LP from the seminal "new wave/pop/punk" band Fàshiön. The influences to later bands are everywhere. But forget nostalgia, this is an energetic collection of fresh, engaging tunes. The sound here is raw, organic, and in the moment. Crunchy, grinding guitar chords, passionate lyrics and a singer who clearly means every word. Highly recommended!

Fashion in any form is great!!
Hell of an album, Luke did a great job coming back from the past and entering the future. Definitely an album that's worth being in any music collection. Really showcases Luke Sky's talent as a musician/songwriter. The album scratches new wave, ska, and alternative, with roaring guitars, lush melodic lines, pulsing keyboards, and various rhythms. Check it out immediately!!!!!!
