Headsweats Men's Visor

I bought and am evaluating the following visors: Outdoor Research Radar Visor Sun Hat, 646-Evergreen, One Size $ 14.70Headsweats Velocity Visor, Hot Pink (One Size) $20.00Mountain Hardwear Men's Nova Stretch Visor, Purple Lotus, Regular $22.00Saucony Speed Run Visor, White, One Size $13.76I bought the above visors from Amazon at the prices listed. I was looking to replace a Mountain Hardwear visor that I purchased from Jax several years ago. Since I had been unable to find one like it, I went to look at Amazon. I wear them for tennis for sun and sweat.The Mountain Hardwear visor which I was so excited to get was the biggest disappointment. The visor part is fine but it is attached by a plain white 1 ½ inch piece of elastic. It feels like a vise around my head and looks cheap. I cut the tags off but am still hoping to return it. I wouldn’t pay $2.99 for it at Wal-Mart. The one I liked so well and one small piece of elastic that comfortably fit my head.The Saucony visor wasn’t any better. The elastic band was the same, too small, 1 ½ elastic although it does say “saucony” a couple of off-balanced times. It is going back, at least I didn’t cut the tags off and it was the least expensive of the ones I purchased.The Headsweats Visor was kind of hard to adjust to make smaller and there is no way that I could find to tuck the excess material. There is terry cloth material that does help with sweat but does feel damp. I was happy with it until I wore the Outdoor Research visor.The Outdoor Research visor looks a bit strange with the fold in the middle of the visor and took a little getting used to the look. But, it adjusted perfectly to fit my head plus had a small piece of elastic for comfort. I didn’t get really impressed until I took it off after my tennis match. It was cool and damp with sweat but I was comfortable wearing it. I usually wear 2 or 3 visors a match to keep a dry one but I don’t think that I’ll need to change this one. I have a new favorite visor

This visor is great. I have had to return so many visors because they don't fit my big ass head. Also, its super comfortable.

I really like it. My old headsweats visor had the elastic band. I assumed this would too but it has a Velcro closure that goes through a loop and doubles back. It’s still very comfortable and stays out for tennis.

Great visor but I would have preferred one that expands just a bit larger. The strap is adjustable but I use this at the very end of its adjustable length. This is no surprise since it is hard for me to find a hat/visor that fits me well. When I find a something that fits my head well I usually buy several. Despite that I found an angle that doesn't put too much pressure on my head and still allow the visor to collect my sweat. I get a good sweat going while running and after a few runs this thing is keeping up pretty well. I would recommend the visor despite the size as it picks up sweat and is very lightweight and quite comfortable.

Love my visor! Totally keeps the sweat from running onto my face and keeps the sun out of my eyes, while being pretty stylish in all white. I also like that it is machine washable and did so multiple times already (hung dry). I have not had any problem with the velcro being too weak as others may have reported (I wear mine with a ponytail and on occasion have had to readjust the band but it always velcros back fine). The only issue I have had is that it arrived with the bill a little folded and not even down the middle to make it look nice. I have tried to reshape it even after washing but the crease is still there. But that is just minor and I still wear it whenever I anticipate sun and sweat.

The hat did a good job of keeping sweat out of my eyes. My only complaint is that when I pulled the velcro to make it tighter, there was not enough room for the strap to "stick" to the sticky side. I have a smaller head and the sides were very thick and bothered by ears as well. I eventually ended up buying a visor at the tournament I was at that fit better. I think it's a good hat, just a little to big for my head!

Although this is one of the best visors I own, I have to agree with feedback (minneapolis) on this one. The Velcro does have a tendency to pop off. I do believe like this person said, it is because it is light weight velcro (especially when it has just gone through the wash). This won't stop me from purchasing my third visor though. Of all my visors (asics, nike, head sweats, and my marathon apparel), head sweats is the best. I even take this visor on trips with me during the summer. I truly enjoy the pink and white one... and now the black... or maybe the lime green...

I LOVE this visor. I got it for the sweatband ability and it really worked great. I was at Disney for 4 days so I really tested it. I don't know what it is made of, but the sweatband part dried very quickly. I would take it off if I was going to be inside awhile so it had a chance to dry. It never really felt wet but I figured the sweat had to go somewhere. It fit fine with an adjustable back that never got stuck in my hair. I highly recommend this!

Looks like they deleted my first review for one star. I had ordered a PLAIN white one with NO purple design. The first one came with a purple design on it. Retuned that one and promised to write an update when the replacement came. The replacement is here! It’s alright, I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it either. Does the job but it could be a bit wider… I feel like the sun still gets to my eyes from the sides if its low enough in the sky.

Je l’utilise au golf pour me protéger du soleil, très pratique et beau style. Le modèle avec élastique est plus confortable et ajusté que celui-ci avec attaches velcro. Il n’était pas dispendieux cependant.

One Size ist leider nicht für alle geeignet. Das Stirnband ist zu weit und breit. Der obere breite Rand steht in Falten über den Haaren zu hoch. Sieht nicht gut aus! Der Klett hinten liegt kaum noch auf, weil er zu fest gezogen werden muss, damit Dax Stirnband hält. Ansonsten schönes Material und toll, dass der Schirm von unten schwarz ist. Muss aber leider zurückgegeben werden.
