Seems sturdy enough.
Mine was an open box sale from Amazon warehouse. It has cups at each end that attach to the wall with three screws each. It also has a plug and screw that screw into the wall fit into the ends of the bar for safety. It fits nicely in my 29" doorway. I appreciate these safety features, because of a previous bad experience with unsafe bars that relied on friction alone.

BEWARE. MISSING PARTS/DAMAGED
BEWARE MISSING PARTS DAMAGED GOODS. The pull up bar was missing one of the locking mechanisms that screws into the wall. The package came damaged and I immediately knew something was wrong. Awful experience.

Product was good at the beginning but notice that it had a few problems when twisting to add tension. This happened so I decided to return it

Perfect Pull Up Bar
Does what it's supposed to do.You do need a (very) sturdy door frame.On the first door I tried to install it, the upper corner of the door frame actually cracked so use caution.

Installation unclear. Sending back and looking elsewhere.
Your hardware to install is not good and you give very little instructions other than some blurry picture on the box. I am returning mine.

Muy bueno. Se instala fácilmente en el marco de la puerta. Resiste un peso de 100 kgs perfectamente. Justo lo que necesitaba.
