O'Lipfa 11111 Ruler with Lip Edge, 5 x 24-Inch

Very nice, the lip kips it from sliding when you are cutting. I first saw this at a quilting class, and i had to have one. The only draw back is the lines are not in yellow so it is harder to use if you are not using day light, but not a big deal. The price is great, size is very nice and the lip is awesome. I has become my most used ruler, especially if i am doing a lot of cutting.

This is a great quilting ruler with a lip that hooks over the edge of your mat. I have had an earlier model for about 10 years and have worn some of the print off, so I wanted a new one. I tried several other brands at a quilt retreat and O’Lipfa won. Hint; hook the lip over the far side of your cutting mat. It will not slip on those long cuts!!

THIS IS A GREAT ITEM, IT YOU SEW A LOT! I'M A SEAMSTRESS OF 60 YRS. AND I WISH THEY WOULD HAVE HAD THIS WHEN I FIRST STARTED. IT PROVES THAT IT IS A STRAIDGHT EDGE TO CUT.

I know several reviews said theirs were not straight, I got the wider one, and it's fine. ** Wrote my initial review after purchasing so that I could let others know that this ruler does have a straight edge. Finally used it today (5 weeks later) and I LOVE IT! OMG, made it so much easier to cut straight, and I was able to slide the ruler across my fabric to make the next cut. Got straighter lines and spent less time cutting than I usually do!

I had the original one and gave it to my daughter-in-law to encourage when she started using rotary cutters. I really loved that ruler. This one is almost as good but it is not as easy to read the markings and the end has so many small squares it's hard to tell where the inch markings are when you get down there. Other than that it would get a 5 star rating.

Excellent, a welcome addition to my sewing room

My wife uses these extensively for sewing. Her last one broke and she mentioned they are quite expensive for what they are. Found this exact brand she prefers for a much better price on Amazon. It arrived very nicely packed and secure, and arrived days before the promised delivery date.

Love the guide lines. Nice and thick and easy to see. The lip on the edge is very slight but once you get the hang if it, it is very helpful for lining up fabric. I had to add little rubber non slip sticker to it to keep things from sliding.

Very nice product. Sturdy plastic, clear measurement writing and the lip is pure genius. Very happy with my buy.

What a fantastic ruler! The lip on it really does stabilize the ruler...never slips while cutting. I don't even need to put silicone grips on the bottom. It's better without them anyways so you can easily move the ruler when you need to. Great purchase...I also have the 18" one!
