I bought these for my outdoor post lights. I had regular LED lamps in them. But the glare from the lamps made it hard to see even though there was plenty of light. I thought these would direct more light down to ground and reduce glare since half of the filament isn't even visible when your even with the lamp. And since I generally look out of the house down to the area where these are installed, even less of the filament is glaring right into my eyes. They worked great. The glare is significantly reduced, and I can see the area much better at night. These had the same lumen output as the lamps they replaced, but since the half silvered design directs the light that would travel up, back down to the ground, there is much more light on the ground around the poles than before.

Bathroom fixture updated with these bulbs. Gorgeous indirect glow. Bright enough for normal lighting needs, yet bounced lighting looks so lovely.

We began replacing incandescent lighting with LED a few years ago and noticed a drop in the electric bill. However, finding a LED replacement for these specialty bulbs was difficult. As soon as I saw these on Amazon, I ordered a pack to test. They are great. Low power consumption, lower heat (sitting at the dining table, you could feel the heat from the fixture has about 2 dozen of these bulbs), and are just as bright if not brighter. So far, only about 2 have failed early. Otherwise they would get 5 stars.After about a year, several of these have died. They do not have a long life. They produce low heat and offer plenty of light. Dropped to 4 stars.

I got these to "modernize" my current chandelier and it gave it the touch it needed. These have a candelabra base which is perfect for replacing chandelier bulbs. Even when the chandelier is not lit the bulbs look so beautiful just as they are. Highly recommend!

I had a set of 8 in a lamp, and the old bulbs flickered horribly, so I switched to these. Old ones were 2W, these are 4W, so mostly I run them at ~30% power, which gives about the same brightnes.

This bulb is advertised as ‘dimmable’ but the bulbs do not ‘dim’ in my fixture.

My lamp is close to a hallway and these silver top bulbs are about the only solution to the blinding effect of a normal bulb. Bright enough to light underneath and dark enough to allow you to walk past it without having to squint at the sudden brightness. They’re also long-lasting.

The glass quality is low and flimsy. Brightness is way worst than the specifications
