Lucky Brand Women's Plus Size Emery Smocked Top

Normally, I'm not keen on a smocked bottom shirt or paying $50-60 on a knit top. Maybe it was the model's confident smile, fun print or other positive reviews, but I splurged on it. (And let me add I don't mind spending money I just like to get stuff 30% off or more if I can! Not cheap, just thrifty!) I'm glad I took the plunge - top is very flattering and oh-so-comfortable. I've gained weight over the last two years and shopping for clothes has been tricky, particularly with some tops as I have narrow, sloping shoulders, a long torso but shorter arms (at 5'2"). The quarter sleeves are GREAT for my length issues, can wear top higher or lower (above or below bum thanks to ruching at bottom), and no worries on top being too short for torso. The unique top styling flatters a fuller bust and even manages to make my shoulders look more significant. Fabric has a great feel, perfect early fall weight for me. I would listen to reviewers saying shirt is sized small - I went with a 3x but normally wear a 1x or 2x. For the shirt to have the relaxed fit as seen on model, size up - and don't worry it will still be flattering and hug curves. Another plus is that the pattern has plenty of blue shades but also black, so great for matching pants/shoes/etc.

I love Lucky Brand Clothes for their look and fit. This has a nice group of blue patterns and a flattering v neckline. I didn't notice in the photo, though, that there is a wide band of elastic at the bottom, which isn't that great for me. Possibly, it is a better fit for someone who is taller and more narrow in the hips. The bottom elasticized part continually slides up on me, so I have to keep tugging on it to keep it in place. As a result, I hardly ever wear it.

Thank God for Lucky Brand!!! I am a plus size lady, clothes for my size is always terrible too frumpy or old or cheap looking or way too expensive Until now...these clothes are stylish, affordable and most of all comfortable. I can throw them in the washer, then low heat dryer and taadaa ready to wear. Thank you Lucky Brand for making me to want to leave my house again. Beautiful! Added bonus: my husband saw me, smiled big and said Wow, you look good!!!

The photo is deceptive in that (probably airbrushing) along model's right side created a curve at the waist.The garment does not fall in this manner but hangs in a stuffed, cylinder shape. Imagine no waist gap when looking at the image and this is how it falls no matter how tiny the waistline.I cut the elastic band off and hemmed the bottom. The garment now falls properly but sure wasn't worth the labor vs price.

Love the design of this shirt. Only wish it wasn't so thin. Have to wear undershirt which is a bummer.

I read the reviews on Amazon, and order a size larger. After trying it on , I, should have stayed with my size . It's roomy.

It is a tad small and I have found this to be common with the Lucky Brand. Order up one size would be my suggestion.

I thought this was going to be a really cute top. Boy, was I disappointed. The sleeves only go to the top of my elbow, the neckline (which looks good in the picture) looks really strange in reality and it runs 1-2 sizes smaller than other Lucky Brand shirts. I have a few Lucky shirts and got the same size, but it is so small. Lastly, it hits right at the belt. In the picture, it's a bit longer.
