Tea Time Pate (Cajna Pasteta) - 3.5oz (Pack of 6)

This is my favorite Pate and I’ve tried a bunch because I’ve been having trouble eating solid foods bc of stomach issues recently. This one’s texture and taste is excellent. It’s got a blend of pork & beef and mild seasoning in it. It’s very soft & digestible so works great for those with gi issues and it’s lower in sodium than most pates & canned meat as well. I love it with cranberry jelly and honey mustard sauce and even mix it with olive oil sometimes which tastes amazing. I’m sure it would be easily spreadable if you wanted to put it on toast. It tastes great plain too .

Excellent taste! Very creamy and not gritty. I spread it on butter crackers and top it with cherry preserves spread with a little hot sauce. Its excellent! Love the taste and shipping was very quick. Will buy again and again.

It was quite shocking for me when I opened the can. It was mushy, it was warm outside so probably all that fat made it mushy. On can it shows 21 % total fat, however it shows 22 % saturated fat. Does it make any sense ? It tastes like pork fat and the color is so light, no sign of any color from liver or meat, taste overall is blend. This was the worst purchase I have ever made. This should not be on the market !!!!!

These taste great, and reminded us a lot of the tins of pasteta that we got in Europe. Be warned, however, that they are mostly fat, with just enough meat to hold it together. It's yummy straight out of the can, or spread on toast, but the texture got weird when I tried to mix it with eggs and them scramble them- probably because of the high fat content.

They tried to pack the cans in a mailing envelope and one of the cans got pushed in and opened up inside the mailing envelope. I reached in to take them out and got an handful of the product -Out of 6 cans 5 of them seem ok but another one has a big dent in it. I’ve not tried them before- they taste ok, better cooled down and on crackers. You get what you paid for.

Pork comes with guaranteed banishment from the Pearly Gates, but you will live a happier life. To me there is no better naturally flavored meat than corn-fed pork, maybe wild boar (also illicitly corn fed). Great taste on pumpernickel bread with tomatoes.

If you grow up in the Balkans in the 80s and 90s, you’ll recognize this brand. Otherwise it might taste different or weird to you especially if you’ve never had pate before. This is a mild spread that you can put on your toast and usually children like it very much because it’s convenient and easy and it’s not spicy. My family loves it and will keep buying this product.
