Glad I found these!
I am very pleased to have found these at last! I think the questions, though, that were asked in this rating are ridiculous. Are the lids leak proof? Now really, I don't know. They are leakproof enough for me. Are they easy to clean? Possibly, but I haven't really tested that out. Are they easy to remove? My wife found them difficult to remove, I did not. They are what I was looking for. The old lids disintegrated after years and years of use. I would suggest not putting them in the dishwasher frequently, or at all.

Years More Life for Our Ramekins
These lids fit perfectly. The original set - from years ago - had begun to crack. These will give our ramekins years more life.

Lids fit my containers
I don’t know why the lids become brittle over time and require replacing. I like the containers because I prefer to microwave food in glass rather than plastic. I also like that the containers and lids hold enough for a generous single serving and can go directly from the freezer to the microwave. Just remember to label the contents and remember to remove the lid before heating.

Adds versatility
I was happy to be able to buy these. I really like using the 16 oz size for stews and meat pies. Now I can freeze portions more easily. The lids are very tight fitting and make a great seal.
