100% PURE Luminous Face Primer, 1 oz

I have never used primers before, so I can't compare to the many other options out there. But this has a great list of ingredients and it glides beautifully on the skin. It is silicone free! I don't think there are very many options out there for a silicone free primer. I have fairly balanced skin with normal shinyness on the T-zone. This did not make me shine free all day long. It did work for about 1/2 the day, I still had to blot my forehead in the early afternoon and repowder, having applied the primer around 8am. I don't wear liquid foundation, just powder over this primer. It works for me. You get nourishment (aloe juice and other nutrients) plus a very nice texture. I'll be buying again.

I have only used twice but the texture alone is worth buying. It goes on your face like a silky lotion. There is no matte quality like most primers but it does a good job keeping make up on. I need to try more often to fully review but I consider this a great purchase even if it turns out to be a bad primer because it is natural and feels so good on my skin. Update: I used this product every day (one pump) and it lasted roughly two months and I here I am buying again. It didn't cause break outs on my acne prone sensitive skin and felt wonderful on my skin. Final Update: I purchased again like I said I would but thsi time the product came in different packaging. Instead of the glass tube it was plastic. I'm okay with that but I know for fact I did not get as many uses from the plastic tube as the glass pump despite the packaging size being the same. After a month I was out of product and for $30.00 a month I cannot justify buying again. I love it but I am also on a budget. I'm officially on the hunt to find a similar natural primer that will last longer or cost a little less...

Absolutely the best primer I’ve used. It smooths on easily and gives my skin a nice glow. I can use it on its own or under Cc cream. The 100% Pure brand has been my go-to for natural makeup since 2010. Highly recommended for mature skin.

Omg I adore this primer and wish I would’ve discovered it years ago!!! This is by far the most luxurious, lovely, light and natural primer I’ve ever used! I’m in love!!! It doesn’t clog pores whatsoever and causes no irritation or breakouts. I’ve used several brands of “natural” primers that would look great for a few hours but then clog pores and cause icky skin. This one is perfect!! One can even sleep in it and wear makeup again the next day without it causing any uncomfortableness (which can rarely be said for any makeup or primer)! I highly recommend this brand!! Now that I’ve found them I won’t go back to anything else. They are actually organic, gluten free, vegan, safe, etc!

Love this product! Only downfall was packaging. When I received mine in the mail, the bottle was already opened and pump was busted. Would definitely purchase product again just not from this seller.

Edit: the second order I got of this was clearly used. I got two bottles. One was 3/4 full of a product that was not this. I was allergic to it. This is the only primer I can wear. It was like someone had put drug store lotion in it. The second bottle was 1/4 full of the real product but it was all dried out and sticky. The pumps worked on neither of the bottles and this stuff usually comes in a squeeze tube not a bottle. This vendor sent me some old used crap. Review for the real stuff: Low chemical, no smell, excellent moisture, wonderful base. I use it very sparingly so that it lasts a long time because it’s expensive (but if you get it through the maker there are lots of cupons and free bees). It’s so hard to find face products that don’t make my face scald so I’m appreciate of this for sure.

I love this product for its amazing ingredients. However, I'm not sure using a primer actually does much to the longevity of foundation. It DOES make it easier to apply spot concealer because it definitely smooths out the surface of skin so that the concealer layers on evenly. If you need a primer, this is a must because of the amazing cruelty free ingredients. It does not make my sensitive oily skin break out and does not make me look oilier.

I use this by itself. It provides a nice feeling, slightly reflective boost of moisture. I often go without makeup, but sometimes I want a little extra something on my face beyond my typical moisturizers. This leaves me looking refreshed without having to use makeup. When I do decide to put on foundation, this is a good primer. However, I really do prefer to use this by itself- the illuminating aspect is too nice to cover up in any way. Very subtle- healthy looking.
