Easy to use as most singer products are. Functions as advertised. Lightweight and built well. Got on a Black Friday sale so definitely worth the money. I will probably look for a case to make it easier to transport and not have to worry about damage as much. 10/10

I love it, very good machine and light

This machine is a piece of crap. I used it once without any problems and now I can't even sew a bra strap without the needle jamming and the thread bunching up on the fabric. I follow the instructions to the letter and I can't get the darn thing to work. The needle keeps jamming and the wheel that you turn to lift the needle starts making this cranking noise and it won't do anything. I'm better off just sewing by hand. At least I could get things done. This was a waste of money

Fabulous little machine, just what I wanted very happy with this purchase

I replaced my tank of a SInger sewing machine that was over 35 years of use with this lightweight model. It is much more plastic than metal. Therefore it snags up in the bobbin area when the stitches get bundled up. I am now keeping tweezers in the storage box within the machine. Over all, it is a versatile lightweight machine. Does all the basics, even buttonholes. For those of us experienced sew ers it is not a tank. You will not be able to plow through seams and folded fabric like you used to do with the older machines. The outside plastic case can be purchased, since it is not included anymore. It seems to be the same price as the other fabric carriers that are available. I bought the fabric carrier which has room for the foot control and accessories. I recommend this machine, but your sewing needs to be more careful. It is a smidge delicate. If you still want the tank of a machine, you might have to buy a very expensive Singer.

Was a Christmas gift, that she loves , it's very nice and has multiple functions to get the job done.

Great little machine for a good value. I bought this for my granddaughters who are beginning to learn about sewing with a machine. I wish I had this lightweight one for myself.

Okay, so I'm not sure why I needed to sew something but I was bit really hard by the sewing bug and I just had to have a sewing machine. Never mind that I haven't sewn anything since Home Economics... So I placed this dude in my cart and I adore him. Threading is a breeze, bobbin winding is a breeze. Heck, I screw up and need to re-thread because I'm an idiot and don't leave enough thread before I start and I just re-thread like it's nobody's business. I have made a few bags and masks and I'm loving the results! I'm having a blast! Some points: - This machine doesn't come with a carrying case. I sew in my small apartment at the kitchen table, so getting a tote or storage case is recommended to keep everything in place. That way, you get to sew more and set up less! - No automatic needle threader. If you have an issue with that, I suggest getting a tool to help with that or getting the next model up that offers that feature. - This machine is pretty light and has a nice sturdy construction and a fold down handle. The light feeling doesn't equate to "cheap" to me. - This machine does not have one of those drop in bobbins. You have to remove the casing to get to the bobbin but it's really not a big deal. - The pedal feels cheap and the cord isn't terribly long but it responds well and it is easy to get the hang of. I just hate how it is really light and slides around. Again, not a huge deal. - It's addicting and fun! When I start, all of a sudden three hours have gone by and I have a project complete. What is this sorcery?? I know there are more cost effective machines but I really like the design of this one and I'm so glad I got it. It's so satisfying to make things. I highly recommend this product!

From what I can see in the market low priced sewing machines are hard to get by with the Covid-19 pandemic. Everyone wants a sewing machine to turn out facial masks. So when I came across Amazons listing of this Singer Sewing Machine I was thrilled (since it was actually in stock compared to other stores that had limited stock or no stock at all). It has a very smooth and efficient mechanism something that is better than the other mini sewing machines that I have seen that are really toys for children. So investing a couple dollars more for this one made perfect sense. I researched this model and discovered that it is similar to other M1500 models with a couple of minor differences but generally are the same machine with less money. This is definitely something with all the features of the better machines and easy to use for many different projects big and small. Happy with this purchase and know this will last the test of time. It is a good sewing machine. Money well invested with this one.

I haven't ever used a sewing machine except for a few very basic classes when I was 12/13 at school, which was a very long ago. However, I was able to easy set up all the components of this machine and start using it in less than 30 minutes, just by reading and following the User Guide on the Singer website. The User Guide is super straight forward and contains easy to follow pictures. I haven't ever owned a sewing machine before, so I can't really compare this machine to any others. But to me, the machine seems pretty solid and decent quality. I honestly expected to receive a way lower-quality machine for the price, and I'm pleasantly surprised. The machine has really everything I need for all my beginner projects and I'm glad I picked it as my first sewing machine.
