Excellent timepiece, much better than the one I had when I was a kid
This is a great watch. When I was a kid I had a Casio analog watch and it told time and was cool and all and I got esteem and respect on the playground, but this watch is so much better. This watch, first is less expensive, second it has a great alarm, dual times, a stopwatch, a light, and is water and shock proof to some extent. Ironically, this watch would have been better for me as a child for a few reasons. First and least importantly this watch has more features that I just mentioned. The water and especially the shock-proof elements would have been extremely helpful on the blacktop and when skateboarding. The next part that would have been helpful is it's coolness. Back when I was "little" (I was always tall for my age), this watch would have been so awesome. I am sure there would have been many kids interested in this watch and by implication me. Chris Stacy (super cool kids, all the girls liked him) would probably liked me and we would hang out and I would get girls around me and then other guys and girls would see this and wonder what I have "going on" and it would build and build. An excellent documentary on this effect the 1987 film "Can't Buy Me Love." So now with more self esteem I would have done better in the classroom and my esteem would benefit from that too. Now a juggernaut of self-esteem I would raise through the ranks of the masses and do well in high school perhaps even be homecoming king or/AND valavictorian and off to expensive private schools on scholarships! Having done well at Stanford or/AND Harvard I would then have some job where I can afford a watch nicer than some $15 dollar cheepo digital watch and maybe instead get a Rolex or something like that, then I would feel better about myself now. Another element of this watch that would have been helpful to young Sam would have been it's digital display -Good luck with life, the ladies, your self-esteem and telling time, for me 1 out of 4 isn't too bad!p.s. right now it's 10:29 pm

The styling neither graces nor shames your wrist. But it keeps time as well as a thousand dollar watch, is rugged, and if the 10 year battery lasts that long it will be a great bargain. the Achilles Heel of these watches is actually the rubber wristband, in my experience. it tends to break before anything else does. However, though I'm not sure why, this wristband seems to attach and unattach without bending the band back and forth much, which should help. The watch has the bells and whistles you should expect with a wristwatch in this price category.I have another Casio wristwatch (model W-94H) whose styling I prefer, but it lacks the 10 year battery. Its styling is a little more rounded, with a leather wrist strap. If I could have gotten it with a 10 year battery I would have. I realize it's a little ironic to be talking about styling and Timex watches, but if you're like me and have champagne tastes but a beer pocketbook, it's worth mentioning. That said, the 10 year battery is a good thing--especially at this price point--so I'd get this again under the same circumstances. Unless they decide to also provide the other style with a 10 year battery, that is.

great product
I needed a watch that did two basic things, keep accurate time and have a timer. This product is very cheap and great quality. Does exactly what i needed it to do, time my rest periods between sets at the gym and also keep track of the time. I highly recommend this watch for anyone needing a inexpensive watch. The band fits well around my wrist and is curvy, easily bends

This watch is highly functional and comfortable to view and wear and is a great bargain for the price range. The function buttons are easily accessible and the face is easily viewed, even for someone who cannot see as well as I used to when I was younger. The ten year battery means to me that I probably won't need to replace it in my lifetime. All in all, you can't go wrong with this product.

Perfect watch for rough user like me
This is my second order of this CASIO watch. It is not too bulky and easy to read. I am a rough user and I misplace my watch all the time. Quality watch for $15 - take my money.

Reliable but band broke over time
Used from 2013 - 2021. For 8 years, never had a issue with the time. Other casio watches had humidity or no battery issues , but this watch was truly reliable. Waterproof and no worries when in the pool. However, the wrist band broke around year 5...Costed a few dollars to replace from ebay.

I wanted to like this watch as it seems to have all the needed basic functionality, looks good, easy to read, etc.But after less than two weeks use, the screen is fogged up. This is from showering with the watch on and some swimming. Seems like a "water restistant 100 meters" design ought to hold up to a bit of water better than that.

Pros and cons...
Bezel is plastic, NOT mineral glass as stated at the Amazon summary at the top of this page - that was the biggest let down for me as plastic scratches easily. Time digits are kind of too tall looking, date is too small and doesn't have the year showing, round circle seconds thing is useless and consumes precious display real estate. Pressing the lower right button switches between 12 / 24 hour time, I'd prefer this option to be controlled instead by the settings mode so that I don't accidentally hit it. When setting there is only an "up" button and no "down" button which is kind of annoying, and the internal calendar doesn't know what day goes with what date so you have to set that too. The "HD" marking at the bottom is in really shiny silver and so fairly distracting. Smaller size case is somewhere between the usual huge hunky man thing and tiny woman thing. The orange backlight is entirely sufficient to see the whole face in the darkness and stays on a bit after you mash the button. Buttons seem OK but I prefer round metal ones as they are easier to feel in the dark. I wish I'd bought a model with a more utilitarian display, mineral glass bezel, and round buttons. But it's a lot of watch for not a lot of scratch so I can't complain too loudly. I took the band off and keep it in my pocket.

Quality Ironman subtitute
Easy to set time but not quite as easy as the Ironman watch because you can instantly reverse. However if you hold down button on this Casio numbers will advance at very excellerated rate to make matters much easier. The buttons on the side of the watch require much less pressure to activate functions vs. Ironman which I prefer. Buttons on this watch may last longer due to less stress. Buttons on this watch can be pressed more naturally with the pad of your fingers vs. your finger nail which is how you have to activate an Ironman button because the buttons on that watch are curved inward. I bought it because durability of Ironman lacking at this point. 10 Year battery was intriguing feauture. Cannot give 5 stars until watch last 5 years and just got it but so far so good.
