The difference is that it is constructed out of a single piece of titanium, rather than the belt clip part and the part you clip your key rings to being 2 attached pieces. I saw numerous reviews reviews of the other version mentioning that the connection between the 2 pieces came apart on them over time, and that won’t be an issue with this version. As expected of titanium, it’s very light but feels very solid. I have no doubts about the clip and the included key ring being able to hold up to the daily abuse they’ll take over years to come. The ring clip springs back easily, and quickly returns to position, I don’t think there’s really any chance of anything accidentally detaching from this. The belt clip side is very strong and a little hard to slide over thicker belts, but grabs even thin elastic waistbands tightly enough to feel secure. I was worried that my thick leather work belt might end up being too wide or thick for the clip, but it is pretty much the perfect fit - maybe a little too snug, so theres a slight struggle to get it on, but that just keeps it in place even better once it’s on. That leads to the one downside, and that’s that it, even though the surfaces are smooth enough, the tightness of belt clip part will scuff your leather belts when you slide it on and off, especially thicker ones. Most of the rubbing/wear seems to happen on the back of the belt thankfully (not so thankfully if your belt is reversible), but in the foreground of one of my pictures you can see how much scuffing the front of the belt got from being slid on and off just once. Quality leather should be able to withstand the wear, but will take effort to maintain cosmetically. I’ve started to just leave it attached to my belt, to avoid unnecessary wear on the leather (I had to start wearing it on the left side, before my first belt loop, because of this, but not a big deal). Maybe some sort of felt-like lining on the inside of the belt clip could prevent scuffing? Overall, great little thing for the price, and it’s nice not having to carry bulky keys/fobs around in pockets!

Lasted pretty much exactly 2 years. Worked great until tonight. I was sitting in a plastic break room chair at work. Keys got stuck under the chair without me knowing. When I stood up, the top of the clip snapped. The clip has great tension and fit all my belts. The only thing I didn't like about it is the belt loop clip. The opening being on the bottom is so much different from a carabiner that I never wanted to use it. It also doesn't open too wide which made its use even more limited. I think next time I wouldn't bother getting one with the belot loop clip and just get it for clipping onto my belt.

I was not sure I would be happy with this purchase, but I am super pleased! The clip is sleek and sturdy. I appreciate that it's light weight and not bulky. I wear this on my leather duty belt and it fits securely. I was concerned it would be struggle to clip onto a thicker belt, but I had no issues.

For years I’ve been using a D-ring clipped directly onto my front belt loop to hold my keys. Over time, that starts to wear down the belt loop and can eventually tear it. This belt clip completely solves that problem. Instead of clipping to the belt loop, I slide this onto my belt and then attach my D-ring to it. It fits wider belts really well — Wrangler, Levi’s, the heavier jeans belts — and it would work just fine on a dress belt too. It slides on easily and doesn’t scratch or damage the belt. Now I can still remove my D-ring quickly if I need to hand my keys to someone, and it snaps right back on just as easily. It keeps everything low profile and secure without being bulky. Simple product, very practical. Every man should have one of these, and it would make an ideal gift if you know someone that needs something unique and practical.

Love the clip, very light weight, very study. Can see getting many years use from this thing. Was packaged in a nice little tin, like an Altoids tin. My issue was it does not come with the key ring. Nothing to clip my keys to. Double checked the item description and it is supposed to have a key ring. Very disappointing. UPDATE: After 7 months of constant use, this thing is still like new. I am adjusting my rating from 1 star to 3 stars because the quality is just so good. It clips very easily to my belt, and I have never had it come loose, let alone break free, even while doing work, or running. I like it enough I am buying another.

I am a woman and when I go to work I need take many keys along with me. I don’t like wear all keys like necklaces which is not convenient. So this is really good for me. It’s so delicate and it’s easy to take the key out and put it on. Love it.

Local quality

Was excited for this item ! Recently have changed my setup as this wasn’t practical for me anymore . I have too many keys and other gear on my key chain and this was not the right fit for that . If you only have the one key ring on it , it’s a great fit but if you want to add more it’s not ideal in my opinion .
