I have 2 of these and find no end to the applications. I like a soft, shadow-free adjustable light in my microscopy work area. These detach easily, and I keep them charged so that I might have shadow-free light in my storage area. I also use one as a variable light for a terrarium

These lights are so easy to use, i replaced a light that coat 5 times the amount and this one was better. I use two, one on either side above the camera. And they’re so easy to move.

I bought this to provide facial lighting for the many online meetings I attend from my home office. This has all the features I wanted and I was pleasantly surprised by how heavy and solid it is. With the options for brightness and color "temperature" it's easy to find the setting that works best for you. I'm really happy with how I look on camera now, no more shadows from overhead lighting.Pros:- Very heavy duty gooseneck will not wobble or droop.- Heavy duty clamp keeps it solidly attached to your desk.- Multiple color temps give you natural (warm) light, white (cold) light or a more diffused cold light.- Multiple brightness settings so it does not burn into your eyeballs as it lights your face.- USB powered, so I can plug it into my laptop and not take a precious plug in my home office's outlet strip. This is a big plus!I don't really see any cons. This worked perfectly out of the box and does everything I hoped it would. Having seen it in action I'm probably going to buy another to provide lighting for coin photography. I can take pictures through the center of the ring and avoid glare.

I think this is great for phone videos or pics. I can see a teen liking this for their bed or desk for tik told or ig videos that are face only. I needed more light for teams and zooms and I should have read a little better and paid attention to the measurements and purchased a larger light.

Being USB powered is nice, no worrying about recharging or batteries. And the long gooseneck arm works well for placement (and it holds). I figured with 3 light temperatures and 10 dimness levels per, it'd be easy to get just right lighting. But at times it seems like it'd be helpful to have even dimmer (less bright) setting. For the price I'd absolutely by again.

When I test my camera everything looks good, but for some reason when I’m on Zoom calls I look very dark and it’s difficult to see me. I tested my lighting by putting a lamp behind my camera and that solves the issues. So my issue was the lighting direction in my home office. To solve, I bought this light. My desk framing is triangular so the clamp wouldn’t attach. I solved this by clamping the light to my monitor base. This worked out much better as the extra slack of the goose neck allowed me to angle the light down to offer a better lighting experience. Love the adjustable lighting!

With the built on clip this lamp is easy to attach to your table, the top of your screen, or any other place of convenience.It has three different lighting settings with several settings for how bright you may need the lighting.We bought this because of the price and it has worked out better than I had imagined.It may not be the best lighting that is being sold, but for us who need a little more lighting as we are on our meetings or maybe you just need a convenient lamp somewhere to do some reading or other work, this will do the job.

It does provide various light settings and intensities as advertised. The 3-1/2" light ring tends to concentrate the light field on the users' face. If in a well lit room it will even out facial features. In a darker room setting the concentrated light field will overwhelm the camera sensitivity resulting in a darker background and washed out facial appearance. The contrast in the image is considerable. To compensate for this effect the area lighting behind the user has to be increased to compensate for this.Conclusion. It works as advertised but consideration must be taken to optimize the lighting environment to gain the useful effectiveness of the intended purpose.Personal rating is C+.
