Quality concerns but the seller made good on it
Two Star -- Game pads arrived last week, I plugged one in and it worked although the buttons felt a little stiff, not like the 'real thing'. I could live with that, except I left it plugged in for a few days and didn't use it. Tried again tonight and it was no longer recognized. I plugged it in and out several times. I got out the second one and plugged it in and it works fine, although who knows how long that will last. I hardly even touched the first one and it just died. Note that the pad registers as "axis" type although it is of course not analog and goes from zero to full when pressed.Update: 10/18/16 -- the seller e-shopaholic has contacted me and offered to send replacement controllers. I will evaluate those when they arrive and see if the product quality impression is improved. Obviously the offer to replace represents good customer service as I did not even ask for that. I will give it a chance for improvement.Update: 10/26/16 -- I received replacement controllers two days ago. I plugged them in and played a game with my daughter for about 30 minutes, no problems. I left them plugged in for the next two days and I just tested and they are still working. So now 3 out of 4 are working fine. The seller was very prompt and courteous to replace the defective unit and really went above and beyond. It would justify a 4 star rating at this point, assuming that I got a lemon and the seller corrected that. The controllers do feel pretty good, not too far removed from the original.

made with cheep plastic doesn't seem to like the raspberry pi 3 have to re program the controller every now and then on PC as well great cheep solution to have a controller that doesn't need a USB adapter but only a temporary solution the buttons are a little iffy sometimes when scrolling threw menus the buttons will stick and randomly scroll to other menus does not come with ROMS for the device you need to manually bind each button or find the proper ROM for it also had to take the controller apart and re solder the wires onto the button contact on one controller they pull out easy so be carefulall and all its an OK product for a temporary solution wires like to fall out of buttons on this controller

Great deal.
These are exactly what I expected. Not as sturdy as the originals, but not super-cheap feeling either. I've been using them with my retro pie for a little while. They respond just as my hands and brain expect, which was my real fear here. I was worried they wouldn't feel right or I would notice a lag or delay. I'm not a super-gamer but I wanted to relive my Super Nintendo/NES days, and these git the nail on the head and the price was sooooo right. I'm very happy with my purchase and would make it again given the chance.

They work, but spend a LITTLE more money...
I actually bought 6 of these for the same price as 3 other controllers, search and you'll find which ones, and these are definitely lower in quality and feel. Out of the box they're super light and button feedback isn't as solid as the OEM controllers. The cable is super flimsy, but it works. Overall, they're cheap and that's why we bought them right? I'm guessing from the build quality, these will not be lasting as long as we'd like.If you're like me and built yourself a retro pie, spring for an 8bitdo wireless remote. Being corded so close to your big screen sucks!

Updated review.
I need to update my review. My controllers work perfectly fine as long as I do not update my raspberry pi and do not update RetroPie. The issue seems to be on the software end and not hardware. I am deducting one star due to not using a more compatible chooser in the controller. It DOES work as intended until updates are applied. I rolled back to an older version and things work as intended.

Excellent shape and weight
Excellent shape and weight, however the buttons are sometimes non-responsive if not pushed hard enough. My friends and I are probably spoiled with modern controllers. It'd be nice if the buttons didn't need to be pressed so hard to have an action apply on screen.Another issue is that it only works on select applications. It will not control Steam Big Picture.

They work!
Using it with a Raspberry Pi setup as a retro gaming center. Had a few issues with button responsivity, but was able to get everything calibrated properly. They are a darker grey than they look, and don't quite have the same feel as the original SNES controllers. Still, a good deal for 2 controllers.

I would recommend these to anyone trying to make a RetroPie setup
I use these controllers hooked up to a Raspberry Pi running RetroPie. I didn't have high hopes based on the cost but I was pleasantly surprised. I would recommend these to anyone trying to make a RetroPie setup.
