Nice fit, a little ‘warm’ to wear in summer heat but just normal knee socks. Have washed many times and still look nice, not thin & sheer like uniform socks I used to wear.

I have 4 daughters who are not at all gentle on clothing especially their school uniforms. These have been fantastic. Sizes are great. Wash really well and also release staining nicely. We will be buy a bunch more for next winter.

Not Stretchy
Socks are not stretchy at all we just make them work. I would suggest sizing up or getting a different brand all together.

Sturdy, which is good, but became stiff and seem to shrink
I wanted to like these a lot--and they are substantial and seem very well made. But they are just plain small (we've had them in L and XL) upon washing they seem to become stiffer each time and non-flexible. They also seem to shrink. I'm not sure what to say. I was on cold or warm at best, usually cold. They are apparently (?) a US company which I always look for and prefer. If so, that part is good. Maybe it's just me/us. They are sturdy. You won't be disappointed there.

Quality socks
Great quality socks, end just below the knee. Fit true to size chart. Stay up great and are not see through like many tall socks.Please note however that if you live in Canada and choose faster shipping you will be charged shipping twice. Once by the company here and again by the delivery company. I was charged both duty and shipping upon delivery even though I paid shipping when ordering. Also the socks were not delivered to me, they phoned me and told me to pay the invoice online. Then marked my order as refused by client and proceeded to ship back to seller. I had to make many phone calls to have my order actually delivered. I suggest sticking to standard delivery if possible.
