Don't bother, Dell support is terrible.
Don't bother, Dell support is terrible. This monitor is not very stable, fell over on me once, causing damage to the touchscreen port, and Dell's response was "buy another one." Note that everything else works fine and looks to be a simple repair that I offered to pay them for.

Great monitor. You have to be careful and make sure that the legs are open for full support. The legs the monitor stands on have a tendency to close. If you don't open it to a locked position, it will fall. I bought two of them to use as a double monitor with windows 8.1. The monitor is great and works well. Dell replaced the one that fell and broke under warranty. I am very happy with the monitor and Dell's support.

Great Monitor
My wife had an All-in-One PC. The screen went bad so it was not worth the cost of repairing. In the future if the touch screen or PC died I only wanted to have to replace or repair one of them not both. Also if I wanted to upgrade one or the other I could Since most everything now a days is touch based I wanted to stay with Windows based PC's and upgrade to Windows 8. ( I don't by Apple products( long story)). The 27 inch screen produces crisp and clear images of all your Web, Game and Work content. The screen responds instantly to your touch. The monitor has both HDMI and VGA inputs so you can chose which one best meets your needs. The only thing it is missing is speakers (Why 4 stars not 5) . My wife and grandchildren love it so I can highly recommend it.

Nice Until It Failed
Worked well until it started flashing Red/Green/Blue/White/Black over the entire screen (would not display anything else) after only 5 months of use. I had to spend 45 minutes on the phone with Dell to get it replaced.

Touch Screen Input Is Directed To Main Monitor
I am satisfied with this monitor with one exception. When using multiple monitors, the touch screen input is directed to the main monitor. It is not an issue, as long as the Dell monitor is designated the as the main monitor. It appears to me to be an issue with their driver. The touch screen window on my laptop continues to work as expected even when it is not designated as the main monitor. I was interested in purchasing a 2nd DELL monitor, but would not be able to make use of the touch screen capabilities under these circumstances.I contacted Dell tech support in an effort to report and hopefully resolve the issue, but they were not helpful. I was transferred to 4 different technicians, all of whom told me they did not handle these issues. The last technician told me I would have to call back. It appears I will not be purchasing the 2nd monitor as desired.

Revised review
Second update:I bought my monitor in Nov 2014 and finally got a working monitor in mid February 2015. Flash foreward to nov 2015.. It has been malfunctioning since the end of July.. Due to malfunctions and Dell support and endless hours on the phone, the monitor only worked well for 5 months. So 5 months divided into $560+ equals a over $100 a month cost for this monitor. Dell technical support works very hard, but the problems never got resolved. Would I buy another Dell monitor. Absolutely Not!First update. I have raised my review from 1 star to 3. After almost 2 months (from Dec 15th to Feb 12th) I finally got a replacement monitor and it works really well. I would give it 4 starts. The hassle I went through to get the replacement, on the other hand, was horrid, but they finally came through after approving and canceling the replacement order 3 times. In the mean time, when I decided to buy my niece a new computer, I went for a reliable HP..Original Review: This monitor, bought directly from Dell didn't work at all. I called customer support and they tried to fix the problem but couldn't so they said they would send me a new one. They said it would take 2 to 3 weeks. At about the 3 week period I emailed the contact rep who had been helping me and asked when I would receive the monitor and she replied it I sent an email to my contact in Dell and she again said it would be 2 to 2 1/2 weeks. At 4 weeks I finally called them and they said they had cancelled the order. I said, I wanted to return the old non working one and they said I could't because it had been too long. $549 wasted on a Dell monitor .I am outraged by their poor quality products and bad customer service. I will never buy another Dell product!

Hit that buy button, it's worth it!
Love this monitor. It is replacing an older touch screen model that had the bevel edges from h-e-l-l. The 27" screen is definite overkill. I don't mind it though. Even though it does the same max resolution as my smaller 21" screen it replaced, I can see everything so much better now. It is surprisingly lite for it's size. The touch screen is very responsive, and hitting the sides and corners is very easy (unlike my old one that had a bevel that made it very difficult to hit the start button or swipe from the top or side.) The stand it ships with is adequate, but I'd recommend getting the monitor arm from dell. While difficult to set up (another review for another time), once set up it makes it very easy to pull to you to use touch, adjust the angle, and even push it out of the way when you want to do traditional typing. The only gripes I have with this monitor is that cables are a real pain to put in. Once mounted on the arm, it's much easier to maneuver to get the cables in correctly. Also, at this price point, it doesn't have a camera built in. The glass does make for a great display, but does create a problem when there is a lot of light coming in from windows. Not enough to knock off a star, I knew all this going in to it. And the quality of the display, the ability to adjust the coloring by use (with the installable ap), and the sheer size make this a very worthwhile purchase.
