When someone accepts Christ as their Lord and Savior in our church we purchase this bible for them as a gift so they can grow in their faith of Christ. Won't find a better book.

This Bible is perfect for those (like myself) that want to study scripture. I recently started going back to church and joined a Bible study group. Sometimes I felt a little lost because I never really studied scripture just heard Bible stories. The notes at the bottom of the passages help with interpretation. I’ve learned so much!

As a Methodist I’m satisfied with the study notes’ discussions of the Scripture. For me, they greatly add to the Word by providing explanations and historical context. The notes don’t preach or draw conclusions that might be controversial to me as a Methodist, and I can’t imagine they would be to other Protestants. Of course, your mileage may vary. I also really like the several color maps (annotated).

My first one was paperback, NIV. I used it so much that it is falling apart. So, I purchased the leather bound. You can understand verses, you have clarity, I have grown with this bible. So much so, I give it away as gifts. If you need to understand verses, grow closer to GOD and JESUS CHRIST, this is the bible for you.

Has very good information and instructions also has a doable plan that a person who is just starting to exercise or you can increase as you progress

These are gorgeous! I love all the reference sections and I had them embossed with all of our names. I got one for my son, his girlfriend, myself, and my husband. Just love them and I think the price is great!
