Friendly Village 10-Inch Dinner Plates, Set of 4

These are sturdy plates with a beautiful scene of the winter season. I enjoy different everyday dinnerware for fall and winter and spring, summer.

These plates are gorgeous. Sturdy, with an intricate design that made our Thanksgiving table so beautiful. My oldest son (almost 10) came into the dining room to eat and said, "Whoa... Cool plates, Mom!" I agree!

Each of these plates had flaws that the manufacturer wouldn't sell plates as retail. The transfer patterns were not centered, and edge of plate was plain white. The touch-up artist spilled blue paint on the pattern and it was baked in with the firing. The seller, who had an 80% rating, did say "as is", but an honest description would have indicated they were classic "seconds".

No breakage!!

The plates complete our family's needs for holiday dinners.

Been using Friendly Village dinnerware for over 40 years. Finally had to replace a few chipped ones. Should get another 40 out of these.

This is not the nice old world heavy English china. These plates are made in China with a light and shiny finish. The pictures are the same but the glaze is high gloss. The plates are dishwasher and microwave safe. Some of the other pieces descriptions on Amazon say made in China, but it does not say on these plates. I would have liked to have known before I bought them.
