Due to an issue with my gums, my dentist advised the use of straws but I didn't want to get the plastic/paper ones, I wanted something more durable and sometimes the stainless steel ones give off a certain taste (these glass ones do not) - so I went with glass! And it's great, I love the fact that this pack has the variety of both bent and straight straws, with 4 cleaning brushes (I've been using just the one brush and intent to keep the others saved for later). Very easy to clean, especially since you can see through the straw; the diameter is great, too, slightly bigger than normal straws due to the thickness of the glass - but that's even better for heat resistance. Overall, extremely happy with my purchase!
