Manual Choke Assembly fit Honda GX240 GX270 GX340 GX390 5KW-6.5KW Generator New

I used this item to replace the automatic choke on a 2005 Titan 8500 generator with the GX390 clone engine. It works perfectly- Just make sure you attach the linkage so that the choke is closed with the engine off.

Part is amazing and fixed my issue

The rod that goes to the outside handle does not fit the clip

Unit is exactly the same as the old one on my Honda eb3500x generator, only thing, does not come with instructions, make sure the choke lever swivel is properly installed over the carburetor butterfly lever or it will bind and prevent it from working properly.

I fixed my hard to start 6500 generator. Make sure you put the choke closed then put it on or it won't close it. The little cable part should be in front of the part on top of the part that works the choke it pulls it to choke pushes to open. Part seems to be made well.

Parts not put together snug .quality should come first I had to modify but would buy again because of digragm .

The original Honda part was sturdier and smoother… I have fought it, bent it, lubed it, remounted it… I still have no smooth chock function and have to spray starter fluid to get my generator going. Not happy.
