SEM15013 Landau Black Color Coat (4)

This black looks factory not to glossy or to flat. Its the perfect interior black color

I purchased this paint to repaint the interior of my 97 TJ. The Jeep originally had tan interior and I was converting it to black. Everything I found indicated that "Landau Black" was the closest match to the black interior options for a TJ and I'm happy that I chose this color. It looks great and the paint itself is amazing... great spray pattern, awesome adhesion (with proper pep), and super high-quality results. I purchased 6 cans to repaint all of the interior plastic and had 1 and a half cans leftover in the end, even after 3 to 4 coats on everything, so I was very impressed with the coverage. I'd also like to note that the seller originally sent me the incorrect color (it was an honest mistake) but they were VERY responsive to my emails and immediately shipped out replacement paint, which I received the next day. Great customer service and I can't thank them enough for being so understanding!

I think I did review on another set of cans I bought. This color is great for C3 Corvette interior parts, assuming they're black. ;-) As always, take your time cleaning and preparing the part, then take your time painting several thin coats, layer after layer after later and follow the directions on waiting for flash time in between. (This is not a paint you rush, grab you some Rust-Oleum if you want to one shot one kill) Once again, tried to upload pictures but the gallery option on my Pixel 5, just seems to loop infinitely over a small group of pictures. :-\

These came in extremely dirty. Prepped the surface well but adhesion is not great. I don't know how old the cans I received are but the looked like they had set in a body shop open for years.

Stuff is really great! I am restoring a ‘74 Dodge Challenger and changed the interior panels, console, and dash from green to black. The panels were a bit faded and had a couple light scratches here & there. Applied exactly as directed and the finished look is tremendous. I think had I elected to keep the green a top coat would have proven well worth it. Definitely spend time prepping carefully and use the initial product that ensures good adhesion.

I can’t speak for other model vehicles but I had a 2012 ram 3500 in my interior was partially black but I wanted the “A” pillars to be black and I took them out and put 6 coats of paint on them and the held up well. The more coats of paint you apply the better. But the color matches absolutely perfectly. Best choice for matching Ram interior paint.

Keep in mind this isn't paint. It's a rubberized coating like you see in BMW and Mercedes. I just redid a piece of my center arm rest. Turned out great.
