Q: The old game had one black and one white dice to determine your spot on the board. How do you determine your spot on the board with this edition?

Because the old "compact/travel" edition had the black and white dice, you only had one option of where to place your game piece. By using two white dice in this new edition, you have the choice of two spaces to place your game piece (e.g. if you roll 1 and 4, you can try 1 across and 4 down or 4 across and 1 down). This adds a choice/strategy element to the game that the old version didn't have. Also, this new edition has a feature that allows you to move pieces which are already on the board - if you roll doubles or "lucky seven" - so that you have another way of lining up three in a row. This new edition, which has a large board (much bigger than the original), basically blended some strategy/choice features to the element of chance.
