Women's Maxi Bandage Dress Fishtail Bodycon Formal Evening Dresses

This is a beautiful dress. Great thick fabric. It is heavy and form fitting. I would recommend this dress for women with a size C bust at least, and around 5ft 5in in height. I am 5'11" with a B size, ordered a Medium. The fit was perfect, but I felt with the V shape of the top my chest looked extremely flat, the dress fell well above my ankles, and the mermaid fit and flare was off. I didn't end up wearing it. I'm still giving this product 5 stars because it is a good quality dress, but I wanted to include in my review the best body type/dimensions that this would work on.

I never write reviews, but this dress deserves it!!! It is stunning! It is thick, well-made and offers stretch while conforming perfectly!!! I originally ordered a small based on reviews, but had to return for an x-small. I am 5’3” and 118lb and the xs was a perfect fit everywhere. I only wish I had another event so I could wear it again!!

The dress is beautiful, very form fitting, thick and hides any lumps & bumps. The dress is very heavy and very warm, definitely only a fall or winter dress. I gave it 4 stars because the stitching was bad. The seams were coming apart in multiple places. I fixed it by basically running my sewing machine over every seam I could. I would still recommend this dress. I ordered a medium, and it was appropriately snug. I am 5'3" 129lbs, and Iwear a size 6 or 8. The dress was on the floor about a 1/2", and heels took care of that.

This dress was beautiful! I was happily surprised with the quality. It’s heavy and formfitting with nice give as well. It hugs in all the right ways. I will say though, the chest area is made for smaller chests. I wear a 36C typically and couldn’t wear a bra without it showing (stickies worked just fine though!). I’m 5’ 3” approx 145lbs & ordered a medium. It was a bit long (even in 4” heels), but I will get it hemmed prior to the next time I wear it.

I purchased the white size large. The dress looks beautiful. Material is thick. However the straps are cheap and cannot be adjusted. All the reviews indicating thst this dress makes your stomach look like it’s sticking out are ABSOLUTE TRUTH!!! For reference measurements are 5’6, 36, 30, 47. I do lots of crunches. My tummy is flat. However, the issue is that this baggage dress has no bandage that crosses over the tummy. There is a piece of bandage sewn in the dress that goes above your tummy, and another piece of bandage sewn under your tummy. This cause the dress to push the areas around your tummy like squeezing a pimple. As a result, it creates a little pooch look even if you don’t naturally have one. Sorry, but they missed the mark on the straps snd the tummy area.

Ordered this dress 2 times, here is why: The first one looked just like the picture. Mermaid, bright red, beautiful but the strap needed to be sewn. Instead of having to sew a brand new dress I paid $98 for, I decided to re order it. Well it just came and it's a different dress basically. It seems like someone else must have sent it back because of it being defective. Because inside the packaging it was folded weird creating xtra divits in fabric (probably cant iron out), the 1st dress was wrapped in tissue nicely, this one was bunched up in a ball inside the bag. The little clip at the top of the zipper is ripped off, BUT even more disappointing than that is the fact that this dress is NOT mermaid type of fit as the photo shows and the original dress I recieved was, but an A-line cut, and at least 5 inches shorter than the other dress! The top is a different cut too and they are 2 different shades of red. I'm disappointed they sent me another defective gown. I gave that original dress a 4/5 stars just because of the ripped strap. If you like this dress and you have Amazon Prime, I'd take a chance and order it because if it's not defective, it is a great dress. If it is defective, Amazon Prime makes returns super easy.

Okay let me start by saying, I have ordered this exact red dress from about 4 different companies on Amazon hoping to find one that would fit and be long enough on me. I tried the Hego dress first and even though it fit it was so short and came to my ankles. But this dress by Meliun (even though it shows the same exact picture with the same exact model as all the other companies) fit different. It ran almost 3 inches longer than all of the other dresses I ordered. The material was also ever so slightly thinner which I also liked because it allowed for more stretch when walking. This dress is very tight in the hips and thighs( as it's meant to be) but I have larger hips and thighs compared to my upper body. So in order to get it to fit me in the bust and waist things are usually very tight on my hips. But this dress offers great stretch and (hooray !! )was actually long enough to wear with heels. For reference my measurements are 34-26-38. I weigh 116lbs and am 5' 5" tall. I was able to wear a 3 inch heel with this dress and have it hang perfectly to the floor. I am wearing the size medium. I've attached pictures but please note I am barefoot in them. If your around my same height and want to wear heels with this dress I suggest making sure you get this one by Meliun.. all the others I tried on Amazon ran way too short.

My measurements are 165lbs, 36DDD, I have a 33in waist, and 43in hips so an hour glass figure. I honestly had such high hopes for this dress. I bought a large. The chest was loose which was odd for me and the crossing design hit at a weird spot. It made me look like I had a tummy when I dont. It was honestly extremely long too and I'm 5'5". Im so disappointed because it is really nice quality, it's very stretchy and very heavy. Color looked like the picture too. Also, they sent me a used dress, charging me for the price of new. Back it goes!
