Nearly a year to the day I purchased this item, the water pump on the fountain quit working. I went online to see if replacement pump could be purchased, and fortunately stumble across a short video showing how to clean the pump. Ten minutes later the fountain was up and running again. I had cleaned and changed the filters on a regular basis, but as did some other reviewers, I thought the pump itself was sealed. With 15 cats over the years, we have tried many types of drinking fountains. I think this one is the best. Ultra quiet, splash free, easy to clean, and our cats love it. What more could you want?

I adopted 2 small kittens and they weren't drinking enough water so I tried this fountain because it was super cute and had good reviews. At first they were scared of it, so I turned the pump off for a couple days but left it out. They started to drink from it regularly, so I turned the pump back on and now they love it!It's really quiet and comes apart for easy cleaning. My only ask would be for more detailed instructions.

This fountain is the easiest to use and clean. I've tried the plastic(hated them), the stainless steel, and the expensive ceramic one that looks like a decorative three tiered fountain. All of them had several negative aspects. I hate the lights, the endless pollution of disposable filters that don't clean the water anyway( don't buy them people!), lids that hide the water level and make filling it a pain, and noisy water splashing and noisy cheap pumps. The fountain has none of that going on- it's perfect except for the useless tiny box "filter". I use filtered water from the fridge, so you really don't need to buy those things, just keep the foam filter clean. Don't buy into the gimmick and become a part of the pollution problem. I love that the fountain is easy to assemble, clean, fill, and monitor the water level. Best of all it is QUIET and has no light! It seems to have a good pump because the flow of water is strong yet makes no noise. My cat loves drinking from the very top where the water makes a large bubbling font before it spills over to the three spouts and the water doesn't ever splash over- it's perfectly designed. He loves all the options for drinking. I appreciate that it is very well made yet not too heavy for me even when filled, and I like that it came with a little cleaning brush. The capacity and size of this fountain is perfect too. I have one very large cat who has always been a good drinker and loves ice cubes in the water. The last fountain was stainless steel but he stopped using it because the water didn't stay cool, so he would use the ceramic bowl instead. The ceramic fountain keeps the water much cooler for longer and now my cat is happy. I will probably stick with this style fountain from now on. I would recommend it to any cat owner and I would definitely buy again!

I love this! I had a similar one in blue that broke and I decided to get this one to replace it. The purple colors are very pretty and the cats and dog love drinking out of it! Keeps the water cleaner than a regular bowl and it’s heavy but not very difficult to clean.Highly recommend!!

I’ve tired plastic, stainless steel, and now ceramic fountains and this one is by far my #1. It’s super quiet, easy to clean, It is visually appealing which is something the stainless steel options lack. It holds quite a bit of water and it’s pretty heavy so my cat can’t move it around. My favorite thing about it is it’s open access, if the power goes out I don’t have to worry about my cat not being able to get water. I highly recommend this fountian!!!!!

I’m so disappointed. This fountain was great and my cats loved drinking out of it. However, I recently noticed small flies around the bowl. This morning I noticed A LOT. I took the middle piece out to clean the bowl and there were even more! I went to the product and searched for questions and found others who mentioned flies in the filters/in the bowl. DISGUSTING. Not even sure it’s worth ordering new filters. I’m grossed out, and my poor cats! I bought this to give them healthier and cleaner water….

My cats love this fountain. I am lucky that they are very careful drinkers and do not play in the water, put food in it, etc. If you have a cat (or a small dog) that likes to play with water, make a mess, etc. this isn't for you.As it is, it was pretty easy to set up, though the instructions I received had no English instructions, I figured it out. It's easy to clean. With two small cats and excellent water this thing rarely gets dirty. Even so, I wash it once a week and deep clean it every other week. If you have messy pets, hard water, etc. you will have to clean it more often and I'm not sure I'd like this as well if I had to do that!Even so, the fountain works great for me. The cats love it. It's very, very quiet. It has now been running for 3 months with no issues whatsoever.Updated:After 1.5 years this fountain is leaking like a sieve. There is a blue rubber seal piece that goes on the motor that has cracked and apparently there is no way to buy replacements!? So I have a useless fountain all for a stupid piece of rubber. I purchased a new motor, hoping the piece would be present, but it's not! So what am I supposed to do with this now but use it as a doorstop and find a better made product with actual replacement parts for my cats. Thanks for nothing Nautypaws!

My cats were always knocking over their water dish and it was very frustrating for me, because there was always water on the floor and they weren't getting the hydration that they needed. Love this product.cats drink from it rather than play in it.

Had this since January 31 and the filter doesn’t work. I always find the water is filthy after two weeks and there’s always a reddish residue inside the pump. You can’t really reach all areas inside of the pump to give it a proper cleaning so it’s always full of bacteria. Just threw it out today not worth the investment. Also! When you buy spare filters, you can see it’s not actually going through any filtering material like charcoal, there’s an actual gap in the filter.

My cat is a big fan of this water fountain. Very quite only downfall is since it’s so open hair is more likely to fall in and requires more cleaning

Love that its not plastic, overall, I empty the water every day. It gets dirty(‘ ( thought the pump would keep it cleaner). I also wipe down the whole thing when I change water. The pump and the fact that it is attached through the walk is really not practical to clean every day.
