The quality and style of the silverware is lovely in person but the “black” color is NOT black. It is more of a shiny pewter so unfortunately, I will be returning them. So disappointed as I love the style.

I was initially in love with the shape and design of this silverware online but upon receiving them they just didn't love them like I thought I would. Overall, they are decent in quality. They were packaged in separate plastic sleeves to prevent scratches in shipment. They have some weight to them. They larger utensils feel strong and durable but the smaller ones are noticeably lighter and thinner. The balance on the utensils is more handle heavy and the metal runs a bit thinner on the tops/eating ends of the utensils than on my other silverware. The size difference between the large and small spoon is drastic. I usually prefer smaller utensils but it is just too small in my opinion. The small fork is a reasonable size however. The black color wasn't exactly what I was expecting. Online they appear to be a sleek flat black but they are more of a dark gunmetal color in real life. They have a somewhat satin finish but are still very shiny and reflective. The dimensions given in the listing are not correct. A service for 4 set was around $80 when I purchased them and I feel like the quality isn't up to the price so I decided to send them back.Real Dimensions- large spoon 7 3/4in-small spoon 5 3/4 in- large fork 7 7/8 in-small fork 7 1/8 in-knife 8 7/8 in

This set is wonderful. It matches perfectly with my plate ware, is a perfect size, and feels like they will hold up for many years to come. I bought the black set and so far they have washed very well(I only hand wash due to living by myself) and still look like the day I got them. The biggest issue I had was a good thing and an aggravating thing. Each fork, knife, and spoon was individually wrapped (twice I think). It was great for protecting them but a pain and a mess opening each one. So yea that is the worse thing I have found so far.
