If you say it's metal, why did reviewers say it is plastic?

The inside where your bread or whatever will go is metal along with the coils. The outer shell and all the buttons are plastic. Everything red and/or silver, all the cool looking design parts are plastic. Bought mine in January 2016 And so far so good but it definitely is not great quality. I feel like if I'm not careful when I push a button or turn the dial I will break it. I don't use it very often so it's fine for me but I would not recommend this for someone that uses a toaster a lot.
