I needed to match the stain to a stain used 30 years ago. The colour in the Amazon picture suggested a perfect match. I wasn't disappointed. The stain matched perfectly. Amazing result. First class product.

The sample arrives in a small plastic bottle with a tiny nozzle attached when you unscrew the lid. I was sceptical that there would be enough to do a proper colour test but it is very thin stuff and the nozzle is actually a good idea as it allows you to squirt a few drops on your wood which can be spread around with a small brush. I was able to give a useful test area two coats. The product itself stains well and very evenly. It was a lighter colour than I wanted, and while it did not match the rosewood item I was trying to match, it did match a table that is also billed as rosewood. Rosewood seems to be a much debated shade and I would say that this dye is closer to my idea of rosewood than a brown. Quite a nice product to work with. Easy and fast to apply. Dries quickly. Sinks into the wood and takes a second coat if required. No smell. Washes off hands and tools without fuss. I contacted WoodDeeDoo with a question and they replied in a helpful and polite manner. So no worries about the supplier.

Something was spilled on a teak coloured G plan wall unit, and I have been using this to rebuild the colour. It is gradually getting closer to the colour but the initial applications made little difference. The sample size is ideal for small areas

I would give zero if I could. Price and quantity in the little plastic bottles great altho its extremely thin woodstain however it took me 4 HOURS to get the bottle open!! Like SERIOUSLY?????!!! I can't even get the other one I bought open as 3 broken fingernails and a multitude of blisters on my hands would testify. These bottles arent just childproof they're HUMAN proof. Both my adult sons have also tried to open the bottles no success either

Bought to stain some putty the same colour as a cabinet. Worked really well. Just squeezed it on and applied with a paint brush, very easy. It seemed to dry very quickly and the tiny amount in the tester pot easily covered what I needed it too, with some left over. Do keep in mind this is a tester pot and it's tiny, so would not be suitable for a whole project.

I wanted to make a finger rest for a guitar a similar red to the guitar. After sanding away the original mid brown stain back to bare wood, I applied this, but it just made it look brown again. Several applications later it still looked brown.
