I was expecting something that was cobbled together and shipped from who knows where. The pole kit box was nice, had great graphics on it - it was appealing instead of opening boxes with who know what inside. It was well packaged - the tube were on one side and they are "THICK" pvc. I wouldn't worry about these. The rest of the kit is super solid - the bend does appear to be a perfect 90 degrees and not offset. Hardware for the kit is perfect and worked great for me. I added a pair of pads to go over them. This makes backing down the ramp without my Sea-Doo way easier as I can see the ends of the trailer - it also makes loading easier for the rest of the gang.

Works great for centering the boat with the trailer.I set my poles very close to the side of the boat.Good for backing the empty trailer also.

Good product for the price, should hold up as well as any other brand. Quick 10 min to install on the trailer. The only thing I did not like about it was it did not come with washers for the through bolt that holds the pvc to the L-bracket, and the nut for that bolt was not a lock nut. So you needed to tighten it down a bit (or use thread lock) so it wouldn’t back off from vibration. Except when you tighten it the nut/bolt tries to go through the pvc. For the price they could’ve thrown in four 5/16 washers to fix that issue.

I wouldn't say I love it lol. But I do like the setup, pretty easy to put together. Some reviews said it was thin cheap metal? I disagree its pretty good stuff, its as good as most everything else on the market today. Now I will agree its not going to hold up in saltwater so get ready to prime and paint if u plan to use in saltwater. Now I have to ask y in the hell didn't they drill the holes for the bolt to keep the pvc stand pipe from coming off? It was a pain. I started out with a crappy bit and it wasn't cutting it, so I had to go look around for some better bits. Now I cant start taking away stars because the company got lazy on a hole or two lol. Over all its a good looking and a pretty solid setup. And for $60.00 hell I cant complain to much. Im using the guides on a 16ft G3 fishing boat btw so these guides are more then enough to get the job done on my small boat.

Very good material should last a long time.

Easy to install, but I did have to grind down one side of each washer. The 40 inch pipe length is perfect for my boat, any higher and they would interfere with the downriggers. If you've never had these on your trailer, they make it much easier to see when backing down the boat ramp.

Contacted the manufacturer they sent the part right away that was missing. Once put together the product is awesome. Very sturdy and works well to back boat up. Would have been a 5 star had it had all of its parts to begin with!There were parts missing needed to assemble this!

Added loctite onto the bolt that holds the white sleeve to the steel insert. Hoping the galvanized steel stays corrosion resistant. A bit pricey for what it is but it's well built, very solid, easy to install (10 minutes plus drill time), and will be very effective.

I ordered the kit and returned it for credit because….my EZ loader trailer is very wide…. a bit wider than my boat ! so when I installed the kit even at minimum spacing the side guide tubes were still out to much and would not be useful in centering the boat on the skids . In my case the only way to solve this is by designing a base plate sitting & bolted directly on the trailer frame with a circular extension (4 inch piece of 2" pipe welded dead center on the plate) so I can slip 4-5 feet of PVC tubings on it and lock them in with a small boltthis would put the tubes in line with the boat side edges and guide it dead center on the skids . :-)

Easy to install. Very helpful when loading the boat

It would be nice if the L brackets had been pre-drilled for the white tubes. I guess it's so you can mount them wherever you want, but the steel is quite strong and not easy to drill into.
