Eddie Bauer Men's Lukla Pro Waterproof Lightweight Hiker

I love the look of these shoes. They appear to be well-made and sturdy. I love the style and the color (I ordered the dk slate). I wanted to keep them but they are just too darn tight. I normally wear a size 8. I originally ordered an 8 from Eddie Bauer. I sent it back because it didn't fit. I found the same shoe on Amazon and ordered an 8.5. It fit better, but was just too tight in the toe box. The length was OK, my toe didn't hit the end, but my foot was squeezed so tightly that I just couldn't keep them. I wore them around the house for 5 minutes, and was so relieved to take them off. I considered keeping them with the hope that they would loosen up and be comfortable. But as tight as they were, I am afraid I would keep them, and just never wear them because they are just too uncomfortable. I think if they offered a wide width, I might have found my favorite shoe. But I am going to send them back.

this is a nice shoe for a fair price. it fit as accurately as i expected; however i had to return because it fit too tightly on a part of the side of my right foot. however, that was my darn foot's problem with this shoe, not the shoe's fault. i recommend it.

These shoes are built to last. The quality, fit and style met all my expectations.

I have a bonafide adidas foot, and was hoping that this shoe would fit; no joy. That said they are a well built shoe if it fits.

I really like these shoes - except for one issue. They're comfortable, well built, reasonably waterproof and good looking. The problem is traction on wet concrete floors as found in many buildings. To say that they have very limited traction would be understating the problem. They have next to no traction on this type of floor.I work in the Service Department of a new car dealership and detail cars all day long. I needed to comfortable shoe that is reasonably waterproof because every car I work on gets washed first. Everything was great until I washed the first car and got the floor wet. That's when I discovered what I believe is the only weak link in the design.So if you wear these primarily outdoors, you're probably fine. If you try to wear them indoors - as I did at work - you're in for a rude awakening.

They are very nice and very comfy and they were very affordable
