Glofish Aquarium Gravel, Black with White Fluorescent, 5-Pound Bag

I recently added this black gravel to my aquarium and I’m really impressed with how it transformed the whole look! Right away, the dark gravel made the fish and plants pop. It also created such a clean, bold background that makes colors stand out beautifully. The gravel was nice and clean (very little dust), and after a quick rinse it settled perfectly on the bottom without all the cloudiness or fuss some other gravels cause. It felt like a solid, and good quality and gave my tank a polished, finished look. My aquarium now looks more vibrant and “designed,” and the gravel gives a nice base for plants and decorations Everything feels more put-together than before. Overall I’m super happy with this purchase. If you want a simple but striking look for your tank, this gravel is a great choice!

🪸This 5 pound bag of GloFish gravel adds a pop of color in my fish tank. The blue light which makes the gravel glow very noticeably! It's enhances the GloFish experience, highlighting the unique colors of the actual GloFish you can get along with the decorations that glow under blue LED lighting. It's visually attractive, especially the black and white variations. Inability love the GloFish colors that are currently available and I am able to visually do so much with this gravel when it comes to making my aquariums stand out. 🪸For this reasonably priced bag I've only had to use part of the bag so far with plenty of extra. The gravel is clean, easy to rinse, and provides a good foundation for any aquarium. [REMEMBER: it is still vital to thoroughly rinse the gravel regardless before placing it in the aquarium to remove any dust or debris that may cloud the water or harm the fish!] 🪸I can't leave out the fact that this gravel also has versatile uses! Aside from aquariums, I have found their gravel useful ajd safe for other purposes like vase fillers, plant drainage, and for decorations on my houseplants topsoil. 🪸 I've never experienced any issues, and with that It is safe for a diverse range of fish species, from peaceful community fish to bottom-dwelling species like Corydoras. Yes perfect, didn’t weigh a whole lot, a good bit of rocks in bag, all black besides the few pops of color, easy to pour into tank. didn’t make much noise when moving around. looked pretty

I was shopping for aquarium gravel to use as decor for some of my plants, and root starts, that live in water. Everything I found was so tiny, but this gravel is the perfect size for what I was looking for! There was literally no dust when I rinsed it prior to using it. Also, the price is amazing! You get 5 pounds of it, for the same price as 2 pounds of the others. Completely happy with this purchase and will definitely buy again!

I don't understand why there is silica (cancerogenic) in gravels. What about kids putting in their mouth (it has already happened to me 1 day after using it) and fish.
