Peterson Housewares Fiber Bread Bin with Bamboo Board Lid, White

I bought this to keep my bread airtight and the lid has already warped and won’t seal. I’ll be reaching out to the manufacturer for a refund. It was nearly $40 and should be made much better!

Like the other reviewer said, the bamboo board/lid started to bend after just a couple of days. I didn’t read the review until after I bought it but I wish I had as the exact same thing happened to me.I got this, put bread in it, and now two days later, the board is starting to bend and does not fit flush on the bin anymore. It doesn’t fully ‘close’ anymore. I also didn't wash it—gave it a light wipe with a damp cloth when I first took it out of the box but that was it. It has started to bend from only the moisture of the bread contained within.The bin itself is nice but who cares if the lid won’t stay on? The lid is cheap, untreated or undertreated bamboo.Returning tomorrow.

Looks great with our kitchen. Perfect for what I was looking for. Doesn't take up too much space. Love the fact that the lid is also a chopping board.
