Powerful enough for pulling cat litter out of grooved hardwood floors, hurray! Lightweight enough to carry around, swap heads easily from hardwood to smaller car-type-attachment for thicker spills, a great little vacuum.I had bought the similar Eureka and it broke in no time, what junk that was, and I had believed in Eureka for so so long! No longer, so I went searching for something made NOT in China. I found this, and decided to gamble on it, for my hardwood floors with dogs and cats and stairs and ranch life messes.It works perfectly for all of this. Around my litter-box "furniture"the litter spills out and into the hardwood. This sucks it all right up, though I usually change to the smaller "concentrated power" head for that (like for car floorboards). I can carry it easily, it is light weight. It does seem to be all plastic, that is both disappointing and a benefit to making it light weight. I will be surprised though if it lasts 5 years, if it does I will update!I am very happy with this machine, it does the job, fast to change bags.If anyone can recommend a made in USA or Europe vacuum like this one, please write a headline in all caps telling us!

This corded vacuum works great on our hardwood floors and a few area rugs. It is light weight, has good suction, and is able to easily go under furniture. The attachments work well for dusting or long reaches. The cord is long so the vacuum goes easily from room to room with no plug-in change. I can't believe the low price for this small but mighty vacuum. The one drawback is the cord is not retractable, but winds on the bottom of the vac which is inconvenient. So I bundle it and use a strong twisty tie to keep it together, and the cord lies next to the vac in the closet. That works fine considering all the other pluses of this vacuum. It is a great replacement for our old cannister Electrolux and works about as well!

Good suction. Easy to handle. Hose is a little stiff and difficult to handle it times. Biggest complaint is the filter bags are open to the inlet and allow accumulated debris to fall out of the vacuum give it is inverted while debris is in the bag. Seems like there should be some kind of flap closure to prevent this or relocation of the bag which would require a redesign most likely.

I got this for my wife.Because the other vacuum was to heave.This is powerful and picks up great.This machine is also light.

This vacuum cleaner works very well. It's extremely strong in the suction. It moves around easily and the hose is long enough with all its wonderful attachments. My only complaint is that storage is kind of a pain. It takes up a lot of space and when you don't have a lot of space it's a little hard to find a good spot for it that's not in the way. I wish it had a hook on the inside belly so you could hang it on the wall. Other than that it's a great vacuum

I absolutely love this vacuum! It makes it so much easier to clean my house! I hate sweeping and I feel like you never truly get everything off the floor when you sweep. But this vacuum sucks up every little thing and makes it easier to get corners and under appliances and such! Definitely worth it!

Unless I received a dud, I really do not understand all the rave reviews and videos for this unit. I have greater suction power sucking on a soda straw!Yes, the suction control slide is closed, and no, there are no hose obstructions. The only thing actually in the hose is a little bit of dust the suction wasn't suficient enough to move back into the bag.One video I watched had the user place his hand over the suction port, without the hose, and he was able to lift the unit stuck to the palm of his hand. I tried that and felt no suction at all from the open port.The tools provided are OK, but their attachment to the unit leaves a lot to be desired. The Eureka version of this unit, virtually identical, comes with a 1-pc combo brush/fabric tool that attaches to the rear of the unit.This unit has that same attachment port, but there are separate brush and fabric tools, that do NOT attach to this port. Instead, there is a separate tool caddy that snaps on to the wand at the hose end. So long as you use the vacuum with the two extension wands, this tool caddy is not a major issue. However, if you just want to use the short wand itself, you pretty much need to remove the tool caddy, as it gets in the way.I had real high hopes for this unit. Perhaps I just received a dud. Unfortunately I no longer have the packing materials to return it.
