Kingston Brass BA1755ORB Heritage Soap Dish, Oil Rubbed Bronze,5-1/4" Length

I liked this so well that I ordered another one. Clears off the countertop of messy, gunky soap dishes! I like that I don’t have to move it to wipe down my bath counter. The white ceramic dish comes off to clean it. I haven’t removed it too often because I don’t want to loosen the rubber piece. Easy enough to just wipe clean.

This is a very nice soap holder - it is what you see in the pictures and the oil rubbed bronze matches well with other bronze or black fixtures. There are a couple things buyers should be aware of.1. over time (as in over the course of 10 years) the oil rubbed bronze finish rubs off of the small ball under the soap dish. this is due to soap and water running down onto that. This is a bigger issue in a shower installation where water and soap are more likely to get splashed.2. the porcelain dish will fall out if bumped hard. I strongly recommend a bit of epoxy to hold it in place - otherwise at some point you'll be buying another one of these (it's happened to me twice).The two items above aren't showstoppers - just be aware that over time this will show some wear and the porcelain dish can be bumped lose if not glued in. Finally, the most recent dish I received had a defect by the little set screw that didn't allow it to be firmly attached to the bracket. I'm assuming this is a one-off anomaly - my other two purchases didn't have this problem.Despite all this, it's still a great looking solid product that I'd recommend to anyone that is looking for this type of design for a soap dish.

Perfect for what I wanted

The porcelain soap dish will fall out. It will need a touch of epoxy or such to keep it from falling off when bumped. That said, it is very attractive in person.
