Exact pan handle needed for my old beloved well used presto cooker!?

After tightening the loose screw on my grandmothers 60 year old presto pressure cooker the handle shattered, I was heartbroken It was my grandma's favorite pot and It Meant a lot to me and she has been gone for more than 20 years now, and since I have taken ownership of the cooker I also fell in love with it, So I went shopping for a new handle and found one here on Amazon ordered it and put it on my cooker and it fits perfectly I am so very very happy, Thank you to National MFG. Co. And Amazon!!!

ours had an OEM internal toothed lock washer on the screw. That wouldn't fit in the handle.So had to break the lockwasher off, kind of defeating the purpose of a lock washer.But it doesn't seem to effect the lock of the OEM screw ... so far.

If had my pressure cooker for 46 years and this is the first time I had to replace the handle of the lid. It works perfectly, and so far no problems.

Did not fit my model though it said it did.

Served it’s purpose

So thrilled that this fits on my Moms old pressure cooler that is 40 years old! This is the second one I bought so I can have a spare one at home. My pressure cooker will be good for another 40 years now! Easy to install with one screw provided.

Order arrived promptly but was packed in a very large box. When I opened it I was very pleased with the resemblance to the OEM handle. It was only when I tried to install it that I became very aware that there was no screw with the handle and the factory screw would NOT fit into the recess. It was not only inexpensive, it was CHEAP. If the original screw won't fit, they should supply one that does.
