Set of 2 Front Hood Lift Support Struts Gas Shock Spring for Chevrolet Corvette 2005-2013

Bought a few years ago to replace the OEM hood struts on my 2005 vette. Finally replaced them taking less than 10 mins to replace both struts. A lot of good online videos to demonstrate how to replace. They work great, no issues.

My hood would close on its own unless I was on a flat surface before I got these. I installed them in about 15 minutes. Probably spent 10 minutes doing the first one and less than 5 minutes doing the second one. Now my hood opens aggressively. (not overly aggressively though) It stays up even on my steep driveway. The hood flexes just a little when I close it. No big deal. The price was wonderful. The parts work very well. It would take years to wear this out I assume but I would do it again if I had another car that needs them.

Work great. Easy to install, about five minutes. The only affordable thing that I have fixed on my Vette.

Perfect fit on my C6 Corvette front hood. So easy to install, all you need is a small screwdriver, and a stick to hold up the hood during exchange. Finished in less than 5 minutes.

great product super easy to replace with old ones they feel strong and stiff and hold the hood up great. i only have to lift it up halfway and it swings all the way open.

Bought these based on reviews, they fit my 2006 Corvette perfectly. Very easy install! Work great, but the length of exposed shaft is slightly shorter than stock. My hood prop insert doesn't fit these, but don't need it because these new ones hold the hood up without issues.

Simple installation taking less than 5 minutes and work very well.

The struts are working as expected. Good fit, fast delivery, and seem to be decent quality. I only gave it 4 stars because I don’t know how it will fare in the long term.
