Shadowline Women's 1302 Snip-it 28 Inch Slip

This slip is well made of very nice material. That said I did not care for the way the front panel fit. The styling was not good on me .I will keep the slip but doubt I will ever purchase another one. This may be great for someone else.

I like the flow of my dresses with a slip underneath. This one fits nicely, and I was able to adjust the length to fit my needs. I recommend this product

Hard to find larger sizes of full-length slips. This is the fourth or fifth one I have purchased from Amazon over the past few years and I have never been disappointed. I always search my order history to make sure I still purchase the same brand. The quality is good, as is the craftsmanship. I have never snipped-it to make it a shorter slip, so I cannot comment on that. I have purchased the black, beige, and white. All are soft to the touch. With teaching school and going to worship services three times per week, I my slips get a lot of use. I have dryer-dried them in the past with no problems. I recommend this garment for anyone who prefers that there undergarments are not noticeable through their dresses and skirts.

This slip is awesome. I am plus size and as those of us in this arena know, it can be really hard to find flattering dresses. Recently, after several tries, I found an awesome dress, looked great on me, couldn't bear to return it. But it was unlined. Shapewear wasn't the answer, as the thing that was most amazing about the dress was how it was loose-fitting, free and breezy, without looking like a muumuu. I didn't want to bind myself up in all manner of second-skin spandex to sweat through a summer afternoon. Enter a vague memory of my grandmother's fondness for slips, and then enter this slip. Snipping the seaming stitches for the correct number of rows to get it short enough was a breeze. I just wore the ensemble for a big gala day out, and felt both comfortable and beautiful, thanks to this slip.

I bought several of these slips in different colors, once I found that they fit my body perfectly. I dress conservatively and therefore have no need to shorten any of the slips. I'm 5'7" and these slips fall nicely at the lower part of my knees. Thoroughly modern Millie will likely want to "take it all off". To each one's own. I love that these slips don't get full of static and they don't seem to slide up under my clothing. Some slips do that and end up at your rear by the end of the day. These are much kinder and will stay put. So far, they seem to be sturdy and are holding up well. I'm very glad for this purchase.

What better review for a whole slip than to say it made my actress look sexy and feel comfortable in the role of Maggie in our production of Cat on a Hot tin Roof. (Maggie is the character that made whole slips a sensation when Elizabeth Taylor player her in the fifties). The front panel is slimming, and the waist curves to give a flattering figure. The material is slinky, yet thick enough to be opaque (in black). Most of all, the ability to cut the hem where needed was a godsend.Costume budget well spent! In fact, it is so reasonable and of such nice quality I will personally buy this brand when I need my next slip.
