I took piano lessons when I was younger but I was looking to get back into and try to start playing again. After looking through several different options I came across this set and I decided to give it a try. Overall I really like the unit and I think it meets all of my needs. It is very lightweight and easy to move around and I love having the stand included. The headset that comes with the unit is very comfortable and they work well as blocking out any background noise to help you focus on what you are playing. I was worried the cord might be too short but I have more than enough room and don't feel like I have to sit really close in order to be comfortable. I'm a beginner and can't explain all of the features but I can say that it does plenty for me and it sounds really good. The keys feel nice and are very comfortable to play. I like to watch a Youtube teaching series as I relearn to play and I wish there was a better way to prop up my iPad on the unit while I play but it wasn't built to support that so it's not worth marking down for that. I definitely recommend this set for anyone looking to have a manageable unit in their home that is easy to setup and put away.

I bought this simple piano in April 2015 for my daughter who was 5 then, not knowing if she would show interest in piano. Boy…I was wrong! She has been learning and playing and enjoying this Casio piano since then under her teachers guidance. 3 years later my younger son when he was 5 started learning on the same piano!! Today we bought a Yamaha P125 digital black piano, as per the teachers recommendation. The old Casio is still working great and we are planning to give it to someone who wants learn basic piano. Casio products are good. Very happy with the performance. Casio was sturdy and robust especially for young kids as they are rough at times.

I was very pleased when this package arrived. I purchased this for my kids who are just learning to play. The keyboard itself is pretty decent, especially considering the price paid for the entire package. It has a many different sound options to choose from. I really liked the feel of the keys though. It didn't quite have the feel of a real piano, but it also didn't have that cheap flat key look and feel you get from more inexpensive options. The speakers could probably be better, but I really like the fact that I can hook this up to some monitor speakers in the future via USB if I want to. When I played the straight piano sound, it did leave a bit to be desired, but Casio made up for it with the design and ease of operation. The head phones are a great idea, and they give you the option of a 1/4" TRS adapter, which is nice. The stand is sturdy and doesn't feel like it would move, wobble, or collapse, even with a heavier keyboard on there. In all, I am very pleased with this keyboard. It is a perfect idea for beginners or people who want to carry something on the road without worry. I recommend this product!

I don't have a lot to compare it to but I love this keyboard. The sound is awesome and the range of different tones is incredible. It has everything from classic grand piano tones to drum tones. Each key becomes a different drum sound - from bass drum to snare drum to cymbals to triangle. You can easily fool your neighbors into thinking that you have a full drum set in your house! The teaching system is awesome - it will literally have you playing songs within minutes. It tells you which finger to use for each note (a female voice calls out numbers 1-5) and the display shows you where the note is and waits for you to play it. As you learn the song and pick up playing speed, the system moves at your same pace so you can't get behind or ahead of the instructions. Thanks to this keyboard, I now know how to play Fur Elise by Beethoven quite well. I played violin back in the day but never had any formal piano lessons so I'm amazed at what I've learned with this system. It comes with a book of songs with a nice variety- from American folk songs to classical to Christmas songs and the headphones are a fantastic perk. You won't regret this purchase!

It arrived in less than a week, gotta love Amazon !! I've never played an instrument before. This is a great beginner piano. The first thing I noticed was the USB port is not your standard USB port. Then after digging into the instruction book I found that it was somewhat difficult for a beginner. I have to keep referring back to other pages and still don't understand it. It's difficult learning all that it has to offer if you are a beginner. I may never us it to its full potential but I love learning all the songs in the song bank. At first I spend 6-8 hours a day on it and got nothing else done. Now I play it 2 hours in the morning and 1 hour in the evening. I've had my keyboard since March 4, 2015 and can play six songs by heart. The headphones come in handy when others don't want to hear you practice...if you know what I mean. Very easy to set up and well worth the money spent. Just want to say Thank You Amazon....you're awsome !

I read many of the reviews before deciding to buy this keyboard. I think the cost is well worth what you get in return. The price is reasonable and I think it reflects on the quality of the instrument. It comes with an adjustable stand, headphones with connection to the keyboard (for those late nights), and a power cord. The setup is simple and it has many features, including different piano sounds ranging from "grand piano" to "synth" to "ocarina". It also includes a few hundred songs, mostly classical pieces that you can play and mimic after. It's a small piano which is great for me because I wanted to stick this in my room without having to take up too much floor space.The only inadequate feature this system has is the lack of touch sensitivity which is hindering if you're wanting the volume to be as dynamic as a grand piano. Though if you're looking for a simple piano for learning capabilities only, this is the one to get. Some reviewers have complained about the lack of features but I find that it is just enough for my needs. I bought this keyboard a little over 6 months ago and I haven't experienced any problems with it. I recommend this for beginners.
